Urbandale JEREMY DAVID REICHART Des Moines TERI" 7 Jii. 4 7 1 V- Theresa Marie Mockus, age 70, passed away at home surrounded by family on Saturday, August 13, 2016, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Private family memorial services were held at Iles-Westover Chapel.

Teri was born August 15, 1945, in Baltimore, MD, to Patrick and Maxine (Comer) Tiernan. She married Gary Mockus on August 24, 1968 Jeremy David Reichart, 40, of Des Moines, Iowa, died Friday, August 12, 2016, in his home. He was born September 29, 1975, in Chestertown, MD the son of Paul and Myra Reichart. Less than a year later his family moved to Bradford, PA, where he lived until he went off to college. Reichart was a 1993 honors graduate of Bradford Area High School, where he played trumpet Teri was co-owner, secretary and treasurer for PBS Landscaping for 35 years, retiring in 2007.

Teri was an incredible woman who loved spending time with her family, friends and her dog Annie. She also enjoyed being outdoors, spending time at the lake, fishing, golfing and taking care of others. Most of all she loved cheering her children and grandchildren on during their athletic events. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Gary, her children, Jennifer Mockus of Urbandale, Kimberly Mockus of Des Moines, and Matt Mockus of Denver, CO; two granddaughters, Abigail and Alexandra Mockus; her brother Ed Tiernan of Bluffton, SC and her sister Judy Tiernan of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Patrick Tiernan.

He then attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor's degree in December 1996. He was a semester ahead of his class, even though he also worked full time managing a restaurant in nearby Waterford, PA.

In 1997 Reichart moved to Des Moines to attend law school at Drake University, but after two years he left law school to pursue a full-time management position at the Hotel Fort Des Moines, where he had been working part-time. He later became vice president of Orchestrate Hospitality, which manages a variety of hotels and restaurants in the Des Moines area. In recent years he helped launch the popular Zombie Burger and Malo restaurants of which he was a co-owner. Besides his parents, who now live in Gettysburg, PA, Reichart is survived by a brother, Dr. Daniel Reichart and his wife Lois Ann of Hillsborough, NC; a sister, Emily Catherman and her fiance Matthew Fryar of Holly Springs, NC; one niece and three nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Dunn's Funeral Home, 2121 Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa. Another visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, PA and on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. There will be a service on Monday starting at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in the memory of Jeremy be made to the charity of one's choice.

Pleasant Michael Christian Carpenter of West Des Moines passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospice of Johnston on August 12, 2016. Born on June 7, 1976 to Michael and Colleen (Herbold) Carpenter, he was the third of four boys. Maryjo was born June 15, 1937, in Thomas, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harry Richard and Helen Evelyn (Kline) Myers. She graduated from Maxwell High School in 1955 and had worked over 50 years as an administrative assistant for the State of Iowa. Maryjo had served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the city of Clive and was a member of Valley United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed antiques, traveling and Iowa history. Maryjo is survived by her son, Merle Welch of West Des Moines; and two grandchildren: Grace and Hannah Welch. She was preceded in death by her parents. Per her wishes, Maryjo has been cremated and no services are planned. Private inurnment of cremated remains will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Nevada.

They had two children Kurt and Candace. Bob graduated from Iowa State College in 1956 and moved to Florence, Alabama where he began work with the Alloys Plant of Reynolds Metals Company. Bob worked in various jobs in Personnel and Production while at Alloys for 16 years and was transferred to the McCook plant where he worked for 17 years as rolling superintendent, area plant superintendent and human resource developmental manager. Bob was president of North Florence Kiwanis Club, member of the Muscle Shoals Mental Health Committee, member of the Muscle Shoals Wage Administration Committee, president of Reynolds Metals Industrial Management Club. He was a youth director for ten years at Community Presbyterian Church in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, and elder at Westminster Presbyterian and First Presbyterian Churches in Florence, Al.

He was vice president of the board of directors at the Moorings Country Club in Naples, FL as well as golf chairman. He was a member of Turtle Point Club Country Club for ten years as well as a member of the Florence Rotary Club for ten years. He is survived by daughter Candace Lewis (Mike), grandchildren Ryan Gibson (Jessica), Taylor and Lindsey Lewis, great grandchildren Sierra, Jacob and Colton Gibson. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday August 20, at First Presbyterian Church in Florence, with the Rev.
