GOP Questions Oaths of Democrats LITTLE ROCK (AP) The Republican Party of Arkansas has asked the secretary of state to certify that 13 Democratic county officials have failed to fife duplicate oaths of off ke within the time required by law. A recent attorney general's opinion said that elected officials who fail to file a duplicate oath within 15 days after being sworn in must lose their positions. Lawyer Accused Of Impropriety LITTLE ROCK (AP) A North Little Rock lawyer has ben accused of impropriety and has been o-dered to refund a fee he received for representing a corporation in a banJmmtcy petition.

Federal Bankruptcy Referee Arnold M. Adams said there was impropriety in the way Zachary D. Wilson handled the bankruptcy petition of Laston doing business as Troy's Roller Dome. Adams told Wilson to refund the 1750 fee he received. Adams also ordered that an amended petition be filed immediately.

He said he would await that petition before deciding whether to refer the alter to the Justice Department. APL Wants PSC To Deny Intervention LITTLE ROCK (AP) Arkansas Power and Light Co. has asked the state Public Service Commission not lo allow the International Paper Co. to inlervene in the utility's request concerning a transmission line that would cut across the paper company's land. AP4L has asked the PSC for a certificate at environmental compatibility and public need for a large transmission line from the White Bluff generating plant near Redfield to existing lines in Grant County.

The lines would carry power to south Arkansas. The lines will require 385 acres of right-of-way, and the route APL prefers cuts across a pine plantation owned by International. But AP4I. told the PSC Tuesday the paper company should not be allowed to intervene in the request because the intervention request was filed too late, and because International had not given sufficient grounds.
