That he has been unable to obtain a position suited to his strength and ability since his retirement from membership in the Board of Supervisors of Elections was asserted by Marion McKee in his answer filed yesterday in Circuit Court No. 2 to the bill of complaint of Lis wife, Mrs. Ida V.

McKee, for separate maintenance. Therefore, he stated, the money he had accumulated has long since been exhausted; and were it not for the generosity of friends from whom he has been able to obtain loans, noce of which has been repaid, he "would have been unable to exist. The charges made against him by his wife were denied in his answer. McKee, who retired as member of the Board of Supervisors of on May 1, 1920, has announced himself as a Democratic candidate for Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas. The suit was brought by his second wife, whom he married October 20, 1905.

William J. Quinn, formerly manager of the Hotel Monticello in Norfolk, yesterday assumed his duties as manager of the Hotel Belvedere. Mr. Quinn takes the place of John F. Letton, who resigned to devote his attention to equipping a new hotel being built at Williamsport, which he will manage upon its completion.

During the war Mr. Quinn helped build, equip and operate Government hotels for war workers in Washington. He has been associated with the management of the St. Charles Hotel in New Orleans and of the Waldorf Hotel in New York, and at present is part owner of the St. James Hotel, New York.

Sergeant Feehley Reinstated. Sergt. William C. Feehley, suspended from the Police Department since April 14, 1920, because of charges involving alleged conspiracy, yesterday was reinstated by Commissioner Gaither. Feehley was cleared of the charges, the State's Attorney entering a plea of "not guilty confessed." Sergeant Feehley's reinstatement carries with it his back salary, amounting to $2,000.
