Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday from the Cothran-Blaylock and Huffman Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Kindrick officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Survivors include his widow; four daughters, Mrs.

Faye Holliday, Anchorage, Alaska; one brother, Taft Gill, DeRidder; one sister, Mrs. Lennie Cole, DeRidder; and nine grandchildren. Winnie Sowers WINNFIELD Mrs. Winnie V. Sowers, 86, died Thursday morning.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Phelps officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Raymond Kokanour MARSHALL, Tex.

-Raymond M. Kokanour died Wednesday. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Cothron Blalack and Huffman Funeral Home chapel with -the Rev. Brian Brown officiating.

Burial will be in Algoma Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his Robinette of Beaumont; three daughters, Mrs. Pauline Prothro and Mrs. Lurline Julian, both of Beaumont, and Ruby Blister of Friend wood, and one brother, Joe Sullivan of Shreveport. Mrs.

Robinette's grand-sons will serve as pallbearers. Billie Moore I Funeral services for Billie Eugene Moore, 41, of Morgan City, will be at 10 a.m. today in the Boone Funeral Home Chapel in Bossier City with the Rev. Julian Pope, pastor of Baptist Missionary Church, officiating. Burial will be in Plain Dealing Cemetery.

Mr. Moore died Tuesday in Veterans Administration Hospital in New Orleans after a sudden illness. A native of Bradley, he had lived in Morgan City seven years. Mr. Moore was an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Moore of Springhill; his mother, Mrs. Harriett Moore of Benton; two brothers, Henry Moore of Shreveport and Melvin Moore of Queen City, and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Stevenson of Morgan City, Mrs. Brity Upperman of Springhill and Mrs. Wanda Hardaway of Benton.

Mrs. Anna Slapon Mrs. Anna Slapon, of 1308 Beverly St. died Wednesday at 5:28 p.m. in Bossier City General Hospital after a sudden illness.

She was 71 She was a native of Shreveport and lived in Bossier City 10 years. Funeral arrangements are pending at the John Ridops Funeral Home in Birmingham, Ala. Burial will be in Elm wood Cemetery in Birmingham. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mason W.

McCoy of Shreveport. since 1940. He was a retired employe of the R. W. Snyder Co.

of Battle Creek and was a member of Eagles Lodge No. 299. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Royal Funeral Home Chapel in Battle Creek with the Rev. Larry Hodge officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery of Battle Creek. Survivors include three sons, Leo Smith of Texarkana, Elmer Smith of Bossier City and Jerry Smith of Battle Creek; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Gray of San Jose, Mrs. Grace Cox of Shreveport and Mrs. Mable Fohl of Bossier City; IS grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Key Miley Ivy Aubrey Miley, 65, of 1115 Highland died Wednesday in Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness. A native of Pine Prairie, he had lived in Shreveport 40 years. Mr. Miley was a heavy equipment oiler and a member of Engineers Local No. 406.

The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Marshall Street Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home with the Rev. Woodey Bagley officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs.

Gladys Burns Miley of Shreveport; a son, Fred Hines of Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Joyce Lee Wynn of San Diego, and two brothers, Grover Miley and George Miley, both of Shreveport. Mrs. Dell Robinette Funeral services for a former Shreveport resident, Mrs. Dell Robinette, will be at 1 p.m.

Saturday in Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel in Beaumont, Tex. A native of Noble, Mrs. Robinette died Thursday in a Beaumont nursing home after a lengthy illness. She was 96. A resident of Shreveport' for about 40 years, Mrs.

Robinette moved to Beaumont about Ave years ago. She lived in Mansfield before moving to Shreveport. Officiating will be the Rev. Harold Halcomb, pastor of the North End Baptist Church in Beaumont. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Beaumont.

Her survivors include two sons, J. C. Robinette of Mansfield and William H. Stephen Bakos JOAQUIN, Tex. Stephen Bakos, 72, died Thursday.
