Montesi-Karls Nuptial vows exchanged Patricia Jean Karls, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Karls of Greenville, became the bride of Robert Martin Montesi, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Albert Montesi of Shaw, on March 15. Msgr. Thaddeus Harkins officiated at the nuptial mass in St. Joseph's Catholic Church at 7:30 p. m.

I Mrs. Dave Sherman presented organ music and Vickie Mitchell was soloist. Anthony and Joseph Terracina served as acolytes. The altar was covered with a gold embroidered cloth and vases of white fjowers on each side. Brass tree candelabras entwined with greenery formed the background.

The bride was given in marriage by fter father. Her bridal gown was of ivory satin fashioned with a lifted waistline and a voluminous train. Imported French lace reembroidered with pearls trimmed the bodice and the long sleeves. Her veil of ivory illusion was cathederal length and attached to a French bonnet made of lace. The bride a diamond drop, a gift of the groom.

She carried a bouquet of white bride's roses, carnations and natural rose foliage, tied with satin ribbon s'treamers. Karls, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. John Edwards, sister of the bride, alid Mrs. Mary Helen Crawford, sister of the groom, all of Greenville.

The attendants wore rose colored dresses of imported malitese fashioned with frilled lace at the neckline and on the of the sleeves. Multi-colored flowers bordered the lace trim. They carried nosegays of rose buds, pink miniature carnations and elegance carnations with pink shower ribbon streamers. Ann Marie Edwards, the bride's niece, was the flower girl. She wore candelight polyester dress trimmed similar to the bridesmaids with frilled lace at the neckline and cuffs.

Her flowers were miniature carnations in shades of pink, arranged in a white basket. Joseph Giamploetti of Hot Springs, served as best man. Groomsmen were Freddie Montesi of Shaw, a cousin of the groom, and T. D. Collier Jr.

of Boyle. Ushers were John Edwards of Greenville, brother-in-law of the bride, and Primo Louis Montesi III of Memphis, cousin of the groom. The mother of the bride wore a floor-length dress of pink silk fashioned on princess lines. The rounded neckline, the waistband and cuffs were trimmed with pearls and rhinestone beading. Her corsage was a pink cymbidium orchid.

The groom's mother chose a long gown of lime green polyester with a rolled collar and a belt of rhinestones. She wore a green cymbidium orchid. At the conclusion of the double-ring ceremony, the bride placed a bouquet of white roses and pink Carnations on the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A reception followed the wedding at St. Joseph's parish hall.

Mrs. R. L. Peterson, Mrs. Frank Terracina and Mrs.

A. B. Schmitt, assisted in receiving the guests. Potted greenery with love birds were placed in the foyer of the hall. Satin covered hoops holding large pink bells were suspended from the ceiling over the refreshment tables.

The bride's table was covered with a white satin cloth overlaid with white net. Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Alan Wuthrich and children of Warsaw, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Biondini of Memphis; Mr.

and Mrs. Primo Louis Montesi Jr. of Memphis; Charles Biodini of Chicago, and Mr. and Mrs. Eickley Biodini and family of Homer, La.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Montesi honored their son and his fiancee with a rehearsal party at the Marina on the eve of their wedding. The bride-elect wore for the occasion a long knit dress with a red carnation corsage. The tables were overlaid with white cloths and centered with Revere bowls filled with carnations in shades of pink.

The attendants were presented gifts by the honorees. Approximately 40 guests attended.
