Cyran would later spend several years with the Pima County Adult Probation Department A veteran, Cyran served in World War II in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged.

Cardenas Born August 13, 1923 in Scottsdale, AZ. Our beloved mother passed away on March 10, 2009. JOHNSON, Juanita (Lyons), passed away on 5 February, 2009 at the age of 76, in Quiburi Mission, Benson, AZ where she had been residing the past several months in declining health. Juanita was born in Portsmouth, OH, 12 March, 1932, the daughter of Lula (Meade) and Harvey J. Lyons of Wheelersburg, OH. Juanita was a retired civil service employee and an avid animal lover. She was a member of Benson Heights Baptist Church in Arizona.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, TSGT Richard O. Johnson (USAF.RET). She is survived by her son, Donald W. Bradbury of Lancaster, OH. A Memorial Service will be held for friends and associates 14 March, 2009, 11:00 a.m.

Manzer 83 years old, died Monday, March 9, 2009. Mr. Manzer was a prominent businessman for forty years in the Marana area where he owned and operated the Marana Insurance Agency. He served his country during WWII in the US Air Force. As an avid fisherman and hunter he loved being in the outdoors and traveled throughout the United States pursuing his hobby. Ann graduated from nursing school in Brockton, MA, in 1952 and worked as an RN in MA, NC and FL before settling in Tucson in 1970. She then earned her Bachelor's degree in Health Education in 1979, while working for St. Joseph's hospital, and before her retirement, she taught nursing at Pima Community College. All of our lives have been enriched by her caring spirit and continual love. The family would like to give special thanks to loving people at Carondelet Hospice and Fountain Court Care Home, who provided compassionate care in her final days.

He fought a long, hard and courageous eight-year battle with cancer, never losing his will to live nor his positive and spiritual attitude.

He never complained about his plight and always had a smile on his face. Gilbert is preceded in death by his infant son, Robert; grandson, Jake; mother, Eva; brothers, Charles and Frank and his sister, Eva. Gilbert was a devoted family man and cherished his family. He was chosen to be a model for the Arizona Cancer Center's "Annual Cancer Survivor's Fashion Show" and he was the Master of Ceremonies for the American Cancer Society's "Climb to Conquer We will always remember his mischievous smile, his generosity and most of all, his love for God. Gilbert leaves 15 grandchildren who all adored their papa; Monica, Colleen, Jeff, Jennifer, Kelly, Dwight, Toni, Hannah, Donald, Casey, Camille, Rebecca, Kaylen, Michael, Jamie and ten great-grandchildren, three brothers, four sisters and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank his doctors and the special nurses at the Arizona Cancer Center and Pepe's Hospice who brought him comfort and listened to his jokes week after week. Johnson was hired by the Tucson Police Department in September 2005 and was last assigned as a patrol officer in the Downtown di- vision. 1 ing east on Old Spanish Trail near Camino fc Loma Alta when he was struck from Allen Dixon behind by a Johnson Dodge pickup truck, said Deputy Dawn Barkman, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman.

The driver remained at the scene and called 911, but when deputies arrived, Johnson was already dead. He was wearing a helmet but Barkman could not say if he was in the bike lane. No citations have been issued as the investigation is ongoing. Johnson was from Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in criminology, according to a police press release "This is a tragic loss to the Department," said Sgt. Mark Robinson, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.

Cyran worked as an investigator for the Pima County Attorney's Office for 13 years. He began his career there in 1973 two years after he moved to Tucson from New York City, where he worked for the Police Department for 20 years.

"He had a strong work ethic," said Ken Janes, chief of detectives in charge of the Pima County Attorney's Office's investigative division. "He was always very professional and dedicated to what he did. for Johnson. 31. NAVARRO, Jose Godinez, 80, heavy Motorcyclist killed in crash is identified A motorcyclist killed when he slammed into a road sign has been identified as a 71-year-old man from Edwards, Colo. Kurt W. Brosig was riding with two other people Tuesday morning in the 15700 block of West Arivaca Road when he lost control of his motorcycle, said Deputy Dawn Barkman, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman. Brosig was wearing a helmet, Barkman said. Alexis Huicochea 13 -year-old struck by SUV near Eloy dies A 13-year-old boy died Monday when he was struck by a sport-utility vehicle near Eloy. The boy was one of three people in a box truck that became disabled on Interstate 10 around 5:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Arizona Department of Public Safety. All three occupants got out of the vehicle and began walking along the shoulder when a Ford Explorer lost control and drove into two of the three pedestrians. The boy Spencer M.

Estein of Glendale and a 53 -year -old man were taken to a hospital for treatment. The boy was pronounced dead at the hospital. The third occupant, a 45-year-old man, was not injured.
