The two-level, 120,000 square foot fashion department store will feature men's and women's ready-to-wear fashions, accessories, intimate apparel, children's merchandise and an extensive homi furnishings division. i Douglas Bartle, former manager of Robinson's in Sarasota, has been appointed manager of the new Fort Myers department store.

Robinson's is a division of New York based Associated Dry Goods Corporation, which operates Lord Jaylor In New York, Goldwater's in Arizona and Loehmann's in New York and Miami. The corporation also operates several department stores in St. Petersburg, Orlando, Altamonte Springs, Tampa, Clearwater and Sarasota.
