Tomjanovich doing well after surgery 1NGLEWOOD, Calif. Rudy Tomjanovich of the Houston Rockets is doing "very well" after facial surgery and leaves Centinela Hospital Medical Center today to fly home for Christmas. Tomjanovich, who suttered nose and jaw tractures when he was punched during a game Dec. 9 by Kermit Washington of the Los Angeles Lakers, will be accompanied on the flight to Houston by Dr. Paul Toffell, who performed the surgery.
