HENNING MIKKELSEN HEMET, Calif. (AP) Henning Dahl Mikkelsen, a cartoonist who created the a popular comic strip "Ferd'nand," has died of a heart attack. He was 67. (AP) Sister Mary Anita Barrett, the oldest Sister of Mercy in the country, has died at the age of 102.

She entered the Roman Catholic sisterhood in 1904 and took her final vows in 1906. She retired in 1974. SCHNEIDER Arthur E. Schneider, 85, of Meta Fort Myers, died Friday. A retired towboaf chief engineer with the Panama Canal Company, he had resided here for the past 50 years, formerly of Buffalo, New York. He was a member of the Tice United Methodist Church, the Pioneer Club, the Southwest Florida Historical Society, the Republican Club, American Legion Post all of Fort Myers, and the Panama Society. He is survived by a son, Arthur E.
