Paul Rippee, 62, of 137 E. Marlon Punta Gorda, Florida, died suddenly in Seattle, Washington, Friday, June 25th, while on vacation. Survivors include his wife, Areta Yeager Rippee, of Punta Gorda; daughter, Mary Lou Campbell, of Moultrie, son, David Earl Rippee, of College four grandsons and four brothers, of Seattle, Wash. Friends may call at Bevis Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Tuesday evening, June 29th, at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be at Memory Gardens, Tallahassee, at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 30th.

Memorial services will be held, 3 p.m., Sunday, June 27th, 1982, conducted by Rev. Edward Stauffer of North Fort Myers United Methodist Church. Friends are welcome to call at the family residence. PIERCE Ida S. Pierce, 79, of Del Lane, a pioneer resident of Bonita Springs, and former owner of the Wayside Inn, passed away Friday at her residence. She had -been a resident of Bonita Springs for the past 37 years, coming from New York. Mrs. Pierce is survived by her son, Charles S.

Pierce, of New York, and three grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday (today), from 1-4 p.m., at Walter Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bar Harbor, Maine. ARTHUR E. SCHNEIDER Arthur E.

Schneider, 85, of Meta Fort Myers, died Friday. A retired towboat chief engineer with the Panama Canal Company, he had resided here for the past 50 years, formerly of Buffalo, New York. He was a member of the Tlce United Methodist Church, the Pioneer Club, the Southwest Florida Historical Society, the Republican Club, American Legion Post 38, all of Fort Myers, and the Panama Society. He Is survived by a sun, Arthur E. Schneider, of Fort Myers, and a niece, Phyllis Curtis, of Rochester, N.Y.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 1 p.m., from the chapel of the Harvey Funeral Home, 1600 Colonial with Rev. Jeffrey R. Ramsland, pastor of Tlce United Methodist Church, officiating. HOPSON E. GORDON Hopson E. Gordon, 58, of Cranford Fort Myers, died Friday evening. He had been a life-long resident of the area; was a veteran of World War II; and was the owner of Gordon's Truck Stop In North Fort Myers. Mr.

(AP) -HennlHg Dahl Mlkkelsen, a Danish-born cartoonist who created the popular comic strip "Ferd'nand," has died of a heart attack. He was 67.
