RAILROAD TIME TABLE TEXAS AND PACIFIC. LITTLE SHREVEPORT GIRL FAILED TO IDENTIFY EITHER AS 'HER ASSAILANTS.

Two negro suspects were arrested yesterday in connection with the alleged attempted criminal assault case in West End Friday afternoon, but were released upon the girl's declaring they were not the right negroes. A different aspect given the case by Mr. F. T. Worley and his son, father and brother of the little Worley girl who is said to have been with the tot other two little girls when the negro attempted assault.

It seems that the report that the little Worley girl was grabbed by the negro was entirely an She was picking violets with other two children, Allie Swor and the little niece of Mrs. Coon, but the latter two are said to have been grabbed by the negro. A strange circumstance in the case is that Mr. Worley's little daughter emphatically denies that she even saw a negro. Her father, while not wishing to reflect upon the statements of the other children and speaking alone for his own daughter, states that she positively was not caught by any negro and did not even see any and knows nothing of the affair of her own knowledge.

Little Allie Swor stated yesterday that the report that Worley girl was caught was not correct. "She was picking violets with us," said the little girl, "but she was some distance away." Brother's Statement. Mr. Worley, a brother of the little girl, was seen by a Times reporter yesterday and asked concerning the strange contradiction of facts. "My little sister," said Mr.

Worley, "it is true, was picking flowers with the other two little girls, but that is all of the story that is correct. She was not caught by any negro, did not even gee any negro and of her own knowledge knows nothing of the affair. "If my father and myself had thought or believed that any attempt at such a thing had been made upon her we would have joined the posse with guns and searched for the negro but we do not believe it." He did not wish to contradict the other two children and their statements could stand, far as he was de so concerned, as they were, but as far as his sister was concerned, he feels sure no such affair as was reported occurred in which she had any nection. "How far was your sister from the other children?" he was asked. "Well, judging from what she told us, I think she could not have been further from them than the width of Texas street at any time.

She is a truthful little girl. don't know but that it might be she was further away and did not see the negro, but she was with them and when she heard them scream she ran home with them, but she certainly was not molested and did not even see a negro. As I say, if we had believed such a story we would have scoured the country for the negro." Badly Frightened. It is doubtful if there were ever negroes worse frightened than the suspects arrested or more over-come with relief and joy when they were released, than the suspects. One was found about 3 o'clock in the morning.

asleep in the woods without hat. The posse hurried him up and took him to the scene. He was frightened half out of his wits when he learned what he was suspected of. When the little girls said he was not the one and he was told he could go, he refused to leave the posse, declaring he would assist them in finding the guilty negro if he could as he would like to see him hang. Another negro was arrested about 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon and tightly bound and was placed in a buggy and driven to the house.

This negro was nearly wild with fear. Tears rolled down his cheeks and it was evident from his fear that he expected to be lynched as Simmie Rochelle was. Learning of the capture, Sheriff Flournoy hurried deputies to the scene and called upon Chief of Police Allen for aid in case of an outbreak. A Liberal Offer THE AARON PHARMACY GUARAN.
