Corporal Gerald Spotorno of Memphis, was best man. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the lovely plantation home of the bride's parents. Receiving the guests were Mrs. Bordelon, the bride's mother, aft Mrs. Braud, mother of the groom.

Mrs. Bordelon wore a modish frock of black and Mrs. Braud was becomingly gowned in blue. Both wore corsages of orchid asters. In the dining room the bride's table was overlaid with a handsome lace cloth bearing the three-tiered wedding confection.
