(UPI)-a young skindiver was attacked and badly bitten Sunday by a large tiger shark, apparently attracted to the scene by blood In the water. Ernie Grover, 21, a student at nearby Gulfcoast Community College, was bitten on the back, legs and hands as he grappled with the shark. He was rescued by a passing fishing vessel and rushed to a hospital. Doctors later said his condition was good.

Grover was spearfishing with a group about one mile off Panama City beach when the hark struqk. It was Congressman Avery's husbandly duty to go home and tell Hazel to start reading the grocery ads.
