Teen Ideas Requested PUNTA GORDA Harry Nohrr, manager of the Charlotte County Memorial Auditorium, wants local high school students to offer suggestions for entertainment in the facility. "These are their dances and I'd like to have an executive committee to tell me how they would like things done," Nohrr said. He added that teens could write in and offer suggestions to the way dances are handled now. He has several bands booked for this summer but would like ideas for other musical entertainment.

COMPLETE WEATHER NEWS DAILY IN THE NEWS SS Deaths and Funerals Camp Blanding May His company commander, First Lt. Donald W. Gay of Cocoa, was admonished for failing to provide proper control and supervision of his unit, the Florida Department of Military Affairs reported. The report said an investagation determined that 4 Kenneth A.

Davis, after duty hours and in the company area, burned a unit sign and displayed a burning small crude cross while wearing a hood." He was reduced to the rank of private, first class. The 187 men of the 149th General Supply Company were among about 3,000 guardsmen in summer training at Camp Blanding at the time of the incident. The unit is made up of part-time soldiers from the Cocoa and Lake Wales areas. A National Guard spokesman said there was a rivalry between groups from the two areas and friction developed at the encampment, but this did not appear to have any racial basis. At the time, there were three blacks in the Lake Wales group and one in the Cocoa group, but they were not present when Davis displayed the burning cross, the report said.

It said the crude cross was discarded near a tent shared by black and white members of the unit. The report said investigators also found that black and white members of the Cocoa unit caught and barbecued a raccoon but found this was an unrelated incident and involved no violations. The state military department said it has submitted a report of its investigation to State Atty. Don Nichols and U.S. Atty.

John Briggs, both at Jacksonville. Nichols said his office received the report and will investigate. Briggs was out of town and unavailable for comment. Edison Flowers Gifts Don't fly through life so fast You forget to smell the flowers. EDISON MAIL 936-4648 MRS.

IN MEMORANDUM June 27, 1972 Peter Marshall said, "The Importance of a person's life is not measured by duration, but by Heidi was born November 20, 1962 and lived a little over ten years. Many people look with sad faces at an afflicted child and sigh, a burden their parents must bear." How few there are who see that such is a blessing and not a burden. Someone said, "The sunshine of life is made up of very little beams 1 that are bright all the time." This was true in our home. Our daughter was the sunshine for every shadow.

She was the tie that binds. She was the perpetual smile. Above all she was the God's gift to us. Her illness did not always draw attention to itself. It required a faith which, she, herself helped to provide us.

There were times of great excitement. School was a big and exciting part of her life. Cats, music and the out-doors seemed to recharge the battery that provided sunshine for us all. Sunday School, church, prayer and fellowship with friends gave her an enthusiastic faith that underguided our own trust in God. Her home going a year ago today has made Heaven nearer hope stronger.

We must express our deep appreciation for the prayers, the expressions of sympathy, and especially the donations that were made to the Cystic Fibrosis Research of Houston, Texas. In this way the sunshine we knew for a little while has now gone to sleep with Jesus. But sadly missed by her mother and father. Mr. Mrs.
