Howitt, Savings Bonds Chairman for Gentry county, recently announced that March Bond sales were $46,301. which brought the total for the first three months of 1956 to $185,385 or 47.7 per cent of the quota assigned for the year. Commenting on the latest figures the Chairman said. "One thing is certain: our citizens are both thrifty and patriotic. They recognize that our government Bonds are as safe as America itself and that the interest they receive is good, too."
