Revival closed here Saturday evening at the Christian Church. Little Larry Norman, son of, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Norman and grandson of Mr. and Mrs.

Horace George fell while at play at the store of his grandparents here, Wednesday and fractured his arm. He was. taken to the Jackson Co. hospital for X-ray and released. Earl Davis is not able to return to work yet due to a car wreck that he had and fractured tome ribs last week.

We were happy to see Mrs. Dar-rel Fleetwood able to return home the past week. Those who called Sunday on Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Axsom were Mr.

and Mrs. Neal McCora and children and Delmer Stanley Axsom. Miss Linda Axsom spent Sunday with Miss Rhonda Lucas of Shawswick. Mr. and Mrs.

Ray Cummings called at the Bedford Hospital Sunday to see Frank Trogdon. They also caHed later on Mr. and Mrs Thornt Brewer of Mundell. Brother Root and Brother Weaver of Bedford called Saturday evening on Mr. and Mrs.

E. J. Ea.s- ton. Mrs Mvrtle Dodds and Mrs. Jean Lucas of Liberty spent Monday afternoon with Mrs.

Tom Cummings James Adams was at his home here some last week. His daughter Mrs. James Bailey has been caring for him for a few weeks her home near Heltonville and also here. He is now in a wheelchair and has been unable to walk since he fen this fall. Mr.

and Mrs. Tom Cummings attended the Wrays Reunion held Sunday at the Conservation Club near Brownstown. Robert Cummings of Huntsville, Alabama, and Mr. and Mrs. T.

D. Cummings and son Jimmy of New York arrived last week to spend a vacation here with their parents Mr. and Mrs. James Cummings and brothers and families. Mr Mrs.

Charley Norman and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cummings attended the Hymn Sing at Kirtz Tuesday night. Bible Study will not be held here at the Christian Church on Wednesday nights during this winter. Mr and Mrs.

Charley Norman called Sunday afternoon on Mr. and Mrs. Frank Crowder of Freetown. Mr. Crowder is home after an operation on his foot.

Old fashioned farm cooking on a wood burning range made the aroma of fried chicken, sage dressing and hot bread especially wonderful. A delicious Thanksgiving dinner symbolic of peace and plenty, was served at the noon hour. Mrs.

Frankie Gilbert gave Thanks. Mrs. Jack Gilbert received the door prize. The club opened the meeting with all members repeating 'The Lord's Prayer followed by sing ing "Kneel at the Cross. Mrs Dellie McHargue gave devotions.

Mrs. Bonnie Brown read a poem Ernest Prayer. The roll call was an exchange of Christmas ornaments. Mrs. Wilbur England read the minutes.

Election of officers was held with the following results. President, Mrs. Mildred vice-president Mrs. Gene Cum mings; secretary-treasurer, Dellie McHargue. Several contests were played during the social hour.

Mrs. Petry received a birthday gift. The next meeting will be the Christmas party with gift ex change and grab bag. Members present were Bylvia England, Helen Sipes, Mavsel Nowland, Grace Henderson, Ida Edwards. Dellie McHargue, Mary Joyce Mrs.

Ernest Thixton, Margaret Lane and daughter, Bonnie Brown, Betty Humes and sons, Bonnie England, Blanche Goens. Mattie Beavers and grandson, Frankie Gilbert, Midge Petry, Margie Cummings and Tracy, Gladys Gilbert and children, Dor-ene Maynard. Wanda Thixton, Grace Henderson, Ruby England and Gladys Keefer. Ed Sprague were cal'ed to Purdue last Wednesday because of the emergency surgery for appendicitis for their daughter Beverly who is in college there. W'e wish her a speedy recovery. Miss Gloria Sue Wayt taught for Mrs. Sprague while thev were gone. Mr.

Gene Mullins. Ladies Aid Meets At Church The E. U. B. Ladies Aid met at the church Tuesday evening, Nov.

17th at 7:00 for the election of officers for the year of 1965. The meeting was opened with prayer cy Martha Noe. The new officers are Mrs. Nt Forgey. president; Mrs.

Thelma Thompson vice president: Mrs. Marv Zike secretary; Mr.s. Mildred Huber, treasurer. The December meeting will be December 15th at the home of Mrs. Mildred Huber with a Christmas party with a $1.00 gift for the gift exchange.

All members and ladies of the-church are requested to attend. Wednesday. November 18th they all went to the Pines Restaurant for a Thanksgiving supper. 17 attended. Buffalo Brown County Mr.
