10:05 p.m. The Associated Press ST. PAUL, Minn. The Minnesota Wild won't go away, or stop scoring. Andrew Brunette's two goals led another unlikely outburst by the Wild, who sidestepped elimination for the fifth time this postseason with a 5-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night "We're a resilient bunch," Brunette said.

The Western Conference semifinal series is tied at 3, with a deciding Game 7 set for today in Vancouver. The winner faces the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the West finals. Both the Canucks and Wild rallied from 3-1 deficits in the first round. "I like the fact we've been through it once," Canucks Coach Marc Crawford said of Game 7. "We have to play a full 60 minutes.

Our guys are ready to do that. Better we made a mistake tonight and not tomorrow night." Dwayne Roloson made 30 saves for Minnesota, who also got goals from Darby Hendrickson, Antti Laaksonen and seldom-used Lubomir Sekeras. Has the wmningest goaltender in NHL history played his final game or will he return for a 19th season? After the Colorado Avalanche's unexpected Game 7 loss to Minnesota in the first round of the playoffs last month, Roy said he was pretty sure what he would do but wanted "a little more time to make sure I make the right decision." He's been mum since. Avalanche officials insist they don't know what Roy will do, but there are signs he has decided to retire. In January, he put his home in a Denver suburb up for sale. Within the past year, he purchased a home in Palm Beach, Fla. Roy, who turns 38 in October, is in good physical condition, but his arthritic hips have deteriorated in recent years.

He had right hip surgery four years ago, and the left hip had to be drained of fluid this season, causing him to miss two games. Roy's butterfly style of goaltending only aggravates that condition. Roy's eldest son, Jonathan, a budding goalie, will play hockey in 1 1-3 1 1 0 (EDiaz).
