Call 985-7171 Saturday and Sunday, 3 to 7 p.m. Call 989-6225 Donald R. Campbell SPRINGHILL, Fla. Donald Richard Campbell, who was born May 31, 1923, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002.

Mr. Campbell, who had resided in Springhill, for 18 years, was formerly from Dearborn and had a summer residence in Lexington for the past 53 years. Mr. Campbell attended and graduated from Michigan State University. He retired from the railroad as a government inspector.

He was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Church in Springhill and was an active member and volunteer in its Sunshine Club. He was a member of the Springhill Stroke Support Club. Mr. Campbell also supported numerous charitable organizations.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his surviving sister, Mary F. Klarer Byczkowski, and' numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home, Port Huron.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. ..2, 2002, in the funeral home followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery in Port Huron. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

James Cawood Hamilton BATTLE CREEK James Cawood Hamilton of Battle Creek passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, in Ann Arbor. He was born July 27, 1920, in Battle Creek and was a former resident of Port Huron and Dearborn. Jim enjoyed a career in aviation as a corporate pilot for Ford Motor retiring in 1980. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Marie; children Christine Erlandson and husband, Bob, Jack Runchey and Kim, Mary Busch and husband, Ron, Jim Hamilton and wife, Stephanie, and Richard Runchey and wife, Janie; grandchildren, Jason Leimbach and wife, Stacey, R.J.

Busch, Ursula and James Hamilton and their mother, Mary Hamilton, and Scott, Mark Kurt Runchey; and greatgranddaughter, Hope Christine Leimbach. His kindness and integrity will continue to touch and inspire all of us for many years to come. Although he has embarked on his final flight, we will keep him in our hearts forever. Barbara Jean Fuller, 73, of Port Huron Township died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, in Port Huron Hospital's emergency room after a long illness. She was born Jan. 20, 1929, in Marysville, the daughter of the late Edward and Zilma Kasemeyer. She married Wallace E.

Fuller on Oct. 25, 1948, in Smiths Creek. Mrs. Fuller was a longtime executive secretary for London's Dairy. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace E. Fuller of Port Huron Township; her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Joseph C. O'Neill of Port Huron; two granddaughters, Darci and Randy Clark of Port Huron Township and Sara and Stan Prapotnik of St. Clair Township; three great-granddaughters, Brenna, Caitlin and Hannah; her sister, Ardith Wilson of St. Clair Township; her sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Victor Langolf of Port Huron Township; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Kasemeyer Sr. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 1 Lapeer at 17th Street. The Rev. Donald R.

29, 2002, at his daughter's home in Lexington. He was born on Sept. 19, 1929, in Mary the son of the late Harry and Sallie Choupek Masinick. John married Barbara A. Healy on March 3, 1951, in Detroit.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Howard A. Sherman Howard A. Sherman ALGONAC Howard A. Sherman, 80, of Algonac, passed away Sunday, Jan.

27, 2002, in St. John River District Hospital. He was born to George and Grace Sherman on Dec. 3, 1921, in Port Huron. Howard was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S.

Army. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Years ago he worked for the St. Clair County Road Commission and later was employed by Raymond Excavating for many years. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 324.

He loved going to flea markets and traveling to Florida. He enjoyed working on his pickup truck. Howard is survived by a daughter, Pamela (Daniel) Heath and her children; several stepchildren and step-randchildren including a special stepson, Ron (Jean Pelc of Kimball Township; his sister, Helen M. (Carl) Gillis of Algonac; his sister-in-law, Dorothy Sherman of Salida, six nieces; and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marion Sherman, and his brother, Jack Sherman.

Cremation has taken place. A service in his memory will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, in Smith Family Funeral HomeSouth, 1230 Seventh St. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m.

Shoemaker, 83, of Brown City died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, in his home. He was born April 10, 1918, in Maple Valley Township, Sanilac County, to Addison and Ada Shoemaker. He married Gladys Muxlow on May 8, 1943, in Brown City. He was a lifelong resident and farmer.

He operated a dairy farm for many years and then became a crop farmer. He enjoyed fishing, especially many trips to Canada, going to Alaska and snowmobiling. He attended Fellowship Bible Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gladys; two sons, Dennis Shoemaker and Thomas Shoemaker; and two grandchildren, Trent and Justin. He was preceded in death by a sister, Joan McNary.

Col. Edith Brown Rothenberg SAN ANTONIO, Texas Col. Edith Brown Rothenberg, 83, of San Antonio, Texas, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, after a short illness. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Bessie Brown.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Evans, and brother, Clayton Brown. She is survived by her sister, Gladys Warner of Fort Gratiot, and brother, David Brown of Sarasota, Fla. She was born April 10, 1912, in Harrisville and was a lifelong resident. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Parker, who died Jan. 7, 1994. Margaret was a member of First United Methodist Church for many years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- and greatgreat-grandmother.
