today in the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Deanna 'Dee' Neal ST. CLAIR Deanna "Dee" Neal, 56, of St. Clair, died Wednesday, Jan.

11, 1995. She was born January 22, 1938 in Sault Ste. Marie. She was a lifelong Episcopalian and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in St.

Clair. She married Ronald Neal on Sept. 1, 1956 in Sault Ste. Marie. She is survived by her husband Ronald; sons and daughter-in-laws, Lome James and Melanie Neal of Atlanta and Ronald A and Barbara grandchildren; 21 step-grandchildren; and 29 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1979; a sister, Gertrude Trader in February 1993; and a cousin, Francis Smith in February 1994. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Kammeraad Funeral Home, Memphis, with the Rev. Fred Wibert officiating. Burial will be in the Memphis Cemetery.

Visiting is 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Ruth M. Loren AVOCA Ruth M. Loren, 65, of Avoca, died Wednesday, Jan.

11, 1995 in Port Huron Hospital. She was born Sept. 13, 1929 in Detroit, and had lived in the Avoca area since 1973. She married Gerald Loren Dec. 13, 1947.

Mrs. Loren is survived by her husband, Gerald; four sons, David, Richard (Pam) Loren, Brian (Lorena) Loren, and Steven; two Webb, Michelle Webb, and Jessica Caughel. A Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Edward's On-the-Lake Catholic Church.

The Rev. Thomas F. Esper, pastor, will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home, Port Huron.

Marione C. Dickson EMMETT Mrs. Marione C. Dickson, 74, of Emmett, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1995.

Mrs. Dickson was born in Mount Clemens on Oct. 12, 1920. She married George Dickson in 1958 in Mount Clemens. Mrs.

Dickson is survived by three sons, Alan (Susan), William "Gus" (Vicki), and David, all of Emmett; two stepsons, Robert and John Dickson; four stepdaughters, Ann, Veronica, Jean Ann, and Kathy; a dear friend, Bill Vieghlan; seven 4, jnrKJ? Bearden, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1995 in Mercy Hospital. She was born Nov.

10, 1911 in Port Huron. She married Pete L. Bearden in 1932, who died in October 1970. Mrs. Bearden was president of the Ladies Missionary Group.

She taught Sunday school at Sparlingville Baptist Church for many years and also was a member of Wadhams Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. She was president of the Wadhams Senior Citizens and taught child evangelism. She was a prayer warrior for Radio Bible Class and Pacific Garden Missions. She is survived by three sons, Mr. and Mrs.

Frank (Janet) Bearden of Frankfort, Mr. and Mrs. Ed (Marge) Bearden of Rapid City, S.D., and Mr. and Mrs. John (Carolyn) Bearden of Lakeport; a sister, Edith Switzer of Fort Gratiot Township; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the Pollock Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeff Wallace of Wadhams Baptist Church and the Rev. James S.

Olah will officiate. Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery. Visiting is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials can be made to Wadhams Baptist Church.

Lyle Reynolds of Applegate Wesleyan Church will officiate. A joint Veterans Memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. Graveside military services will be conducted under the auspices of Allied Veterans Council of St.

Clair County. Visiting will be 7 to 9 p.m. today, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.

Pallbearers will be Mr. Cline's nephews, Brian and Shane Cline, Harry "Bud" and Glen McCallum, John Janisch and Ernie Hobson. Memorials may be made to the Blue Water Hospice or American Legion Child Welfare Foundation. Charles J. Jewell PORT HURON Charles J.

Jewell, 31, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1995 in his home after a long illness. He was born Feb. 13, 1963 in Port Huron and was a lifelong resident. Mr.

Jewell was a computer operator. He is survived by his mother, Joanne M. Jewell of Port Huron; three sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Harry (Cherrie) Sullivan of Goodells, Mr.

and Mrs. Carl (Faith Ann) LaRose of Capac and Mr. and Mrs. Dan (Cathleen) O'Brien of Port Huron; three brothers, William, Kenneth, and David Jewell of Port Huron; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, William H.

Louis Arthur Vernier MARINE CITY Louis Arthur Vernier, 55, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1995 in his home. He was born Feb. 13, 1939 in Algonac. Mr.

Vernier was a member of S. Ward Lodge 62, F. AM, Order of Eastern Star 205 associate patron, St. Clair County Association of Order of Eastern Star, Blue Water Shriners Club, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Detroit, Blue Water Scottish Club, White Pine Forest 191 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, White Shrine of Jerusalem of Port Huron, Eagles of Fair Haven, Old News Boys of Marine City, Marine City Council 59 R-S M. Richard Cottrell Chapter 128 R.A.M., Romeo Commanderie 6 K.T.

today. Anna Theresa Burnham Croswell Anna Theresa Burn-. ham, 74, of Croswell, died peacefully in her home Thursday, Jan.5, 1995, after a valiant battle with cancer. Mrs. Burnham was born Feb.

6, 1920 in Detroit. She was married to Charles Francis Burnham July 2, 1955, Mrs. Burnham was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Charles; two sons, Daniel (Mary) Avey and David (Rosemary) Burnham; and five grandchildren, Rose-anne Avey, Julianne Avey, David Franklin Delano Roosevelt Cline Franklin Delano Roosevelt Cline SMITHS CREEK Franklin Delano Roosevelt Cline, 61, died Jan. 11, 1995, in his home.

Cline worked for the Port Huron Paint Co. and Beard Campbell Co. He retired on Oct. 11, 1994 from the St. Clair County Children's Shelter with 19 years of service.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict and served in the National Guard. Frank was a dedicated American Legion PUFL member for 43 years. He served the 7th District as commander from 1970-71 and Marlette Post 162 as commander from 1962-64. He was service officer for the Charles A.

Hammond American Legion Post 8 for 19 years. He was a voyageur of Voiture Locale 120 St. Clair County 0-8. He served on the Allied Veterans Council for several years. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Betty Jane Cline; a daughter, Mr.

and Mrs. Mike (Bren-da) Stokan of North Street; two grandsons, U.S. Marine Steven W. Stokan of Paris Island, S.C. and Jeffery Stokan of North Street; a brother Mr.
