Southwest st Florida Deaths, Funerals EARL VELZY NAPLES Earl L. Velzy, 84, of 1747 Harbor Lane, died Wednesday in Naples. He was born in Allendale, and had been a resident of for four years, from Englewood, Fla. is survived by his wife, Eva Velzy; son, Walter E. Velzy of Columbus, Ohio; three daughters, Naomie Stryker of Fullerton, Shirley Cotsenmoyer of Clermont, and Leila Weir of Galion, Ohio; three step-daughters, Mabel Daughtry of Naples, Rea Hoeffler of Ohio, and Twila Reaney of Lexington, Ohio, 14 grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Friday a.m. at Gulf Pines Memorial Park. Englewood, with David L. Pease, pastor of the North Side Church of Christ of Englewood, officiating. is in charge of arrangements.

He had served on the board of the Central Supply Association, was president of the Michigan Trade Golf Association and a member of the Lochmoor Country Club and the Lost Lake Woods Club. When retiring, to Naples, he became a charter member of the Moorings Presbyterian Church and the Moorings Country Club. He served as an officer and board member of the Moorings Property Owners Association. He is survived by his wife, Verna of Naples; one brother, Rankin of Fort Myers and number of nieces and nephews.
