280. 1 to 4 tide changes a day, depending Thursday SPRING RECITAL: The first Eric Easton Awards named for the late founder of Easton's Music Center in Naples will be presented to three exceptional student pianists at the spring recital. The 45-minute recitals are scheduled at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the center, 160 Ninth St.

South. Three programs are necessary to accommodate more than 80 local student pianists ages 4-18 and their instructors. Students will play music of their choice on a $118,000, handcrafted, 7-foot Schmimmel grand magic piano designed by Otmar Alt. The magic piano is a unique piece of art with playful forms and colors, with decorative legs and glass sculptures on top. The public is invited.

FEST SET AT NEW PARK: The second annual Royal Palm Jazz and Arts Festival will take place from 2 to 9 p.m. at the newly constructed Sugden Regional Park at Lake Avalon in East Naples. More than 50 arts and crafts vendors will be on site. Mark your calendar the celebration, sponsored by Collier County Parks and Recreation, will include tropical food and drink. COLLIER ANIMAL SHOW: Pet owners can show off their dogs and cats and their pets' talents at Collier County's Domestic Animal Services Pet Show.
