Elliott was a member of the Hill Crest Baptist Church and the Louisiana State Nursing Association. Survivors include her mother, Lilly Brook of Zwolle; a son, Mike Elliott of Shreveport; two daughters, Sharlotte Broussard of Shreveport and Sandy Mize of Atlanta, three sisters, Lurlene Williams of Willis, Texas, and Bell Ezernack and Eloise Babbitt, both of Cleveland, Texas; and two brothers, Leonard Brook of Shreveport and Sidney Campbell of Zwolle. Pallbearers will be Gene Hazel, John R. Lindsey, Jack Mouser, Jim Faughn, A.B. Overall, Mike Harris, Clarence Ybos and Owen Bass.

The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Schumpert Medical Center's pulmonary research fund in Mrs. Elliott's name. Cecil King Cecil King, 54, of 711 Gladstone died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday in Physicians and Surgeons Hospital after a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m.

Tuesday in Rose Funeral Home's Marshall Street Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. The Smackover, native had lived in Shreveport most of his life. He was food supervisor at LSU Medical Center and a U.S. Navy and Army veteran of World War I1 and the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline W. King of Shreveport; a son, Robert Cecil King stationed with the U.S. Navy in Japan; six daughters, Cecilia Boyd, Nancy Sharon King, Paula Gilchrist and Dola Jene King, all of Shreveport, Patricia Jeffress of Carthage, Texas, and Judith Weir of Shorewood, a sister, Dorothy K. Dalby of Shreveport; James W. King Jr.

of Shreveport; and 18 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be John Jeffress, Tom Gilchrist, Harry Crawford, Bucky 9eaird, Jacky Beaird and Dave Bergen. Rodney Williamson Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in Rose-Neath Funeral Home's Bossier Chapel for Rodney Reeves Williamson, 48, of 3109 Malvern St. in Bossier City.

Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Williamson died at 3 a.m. Sunday in the Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness. The Shreveport native had lived in Bossier City for five years.

He was a truck driver for Great Western Truck Lines, a United States Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the Baptist church. Survivors include his wife, Mertie E. Williamson of Bossier City; a stepson, Ronald Wynne of Bossier City; a daughter, Sandra Malone of Memphis, a stepdaughter, Linda Champion of Zwolle; and four grandchildren. Officiating for the service will be the Rev. Joe Adams, pastor of Liberty Tabernacle.

Claude A. Jones Funeral services for Claude A. Jones, 48, of Belcher will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Wellman's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Blanchard Cemetery.

Mr. Jones died at his residence in Belcher Saturday after a sudden illness. The Shreveport native and long-time area resident was a chemical operator and farmer. He was a member of the Blanchard- Belcher Methodist Church and the Blanchard Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jones; his mother, Anna Jones, a son, William Claude Jones, and a daughter, Carrie Lea Jones, all of Belcher; and a sister, Verna May Thomley of Shreveport.

Officiating for the service will be the Rev. Tom Crosby, pastor. of the Blanchard-Belcher Methodist Church. Pallbearers will be Bobby Cobb, Kenneth Hicks, Tommy Cox, Kenneth Jones, Leon Williams, V.E. Estein Billy Merrill and Max Goodwin.

George W. Shorter Funeral services for George W. Shorter, 63, of Shreveport will be held at 2 p.m. today in Wellman's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Edward R.

Thomas, associate pastor of the Broadmoor United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Karoma Cemetery in Goltry, Okla. Mr. Shorter died Saturday in the Nursecare Nursing Home after a long illness. The Oklahoma native had been a resident of Shreveport for 38 years where he was a photographer.

He, is survived by his wife, Elma B. Shorter; a son, George W. Shorter Jr. of Mobile, four stepsons, Elwood Shepherd and Buddy Shepherd, both of Ringgold, Johnny Shepherd of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Wendell Shepherd of Gibsland; a daughter, Elaine Reed of Shreveport; a brother, Danial A. Shorter of Alva, and three sisters, Betty Baker and lleene Bird, both of Enid, and Oleeva Dittner of Goltry, Okla.

Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery. Mr. Poe died at 10:25 a.m. Sunday in Bossier City General Hospital after a brief illness. The Alcoa, native had been a resident of Haughton for about ten months.

He was a Baptist and a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his mother, Ada Poe of Haughton; two sisters, Martha Smith and Carol Simpson, both of Haughton; and four brothers, James W. Poe, J. David Poe and Roger Dale Poe, all of Haughton, and Richard D. Poe of Bossier City.
