Joseph; Miss Marianne Nueman, St. Joseph, sister of the groom; and junior bridesmaid, Miss Christine Zimmerman, Ft. Lauderdale, sister of the bride. Robert Hall, Stevensville, was best man. A reception was held at the Downtowner, Benton Harbor. Following a wedding trip east, the couple will make their home in Norfolk, where Newman is serving with the United States Navy as a disbursing clerk stationed aboard the USS Furse. The bride is a 1967 graduate of La Porte high school and has been employed at Heath Company, St. Joseph, as a switchboard operator. Her husband is a 1964 graduate of Western Michigan university.
