Irene M. Arnold MARINE CITY Irene M. (Bam-mel) Arnold, 96, of Marine City, died Tuesday. April 21, 1998.

She was bom Feb. 14, 1902. She married Alden Arnold. He died in 1948. Irene was a long time member of Holy Cross Parish in Marine City.

She was a former member of the Business Women's Club, Catholic Study Club and the of I in Marine City. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Ann (George) Friederichs of St Clair and Patricia Dorin of Fowlerville; her grandchildren, George Friederichs Jim Friederichs, Margaret Milby, John Friederichs, Kelly Hicks and Kristine Clark; and her great-grandchildren, Paul and Kara Friederichs, Josh Friederichs, John Milby, Cath-erine-Cara and William Hicks, Mitchell and Alita Clark and Robert and Katie Friederichs. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday from St.

Mary's Church. The Rev. Edward Ritter will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting hours are 4 to 9 p.m.

She as born June 4, 1906 in St Clair. She married Ernst "Ham" Williams on Sept 4, 1927. Hattie was a cook at the former Blackstone, the Cadillac and then for 25 years at the Sl Clair Inn with her dear friend Evelyn Cowan. She was an avid dear hunter and she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a member of St Mary's Church, St Clair.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Ernst Williams; two sons, Ernest (Jack) Williams and Robert E. Williams; her daughter, Carol (Ann) and her husband, Jerry VanBuskirk; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; II great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Parker, and three sisters, Mabel Busch, Blanche Thomson and Laura Revenue. She was preceded in death by her brothers. Bill Parker and Fred Parker and her sister, Nettie Johnson.

Funeral Mass will be held at noon Friday from St. Mary's Church, St. Clair. The Rev. Edward Ritter will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2 to 8 p.m. today in the L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today. Mrs. Williams grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Frederick J.

He was born Dec. 21, 1918 in Port Huron. He married Florence Brox on Feb. 17, 1940 in Detroit. Charles retired from Ford Motor Co.

after 22 years of service as a Tool Die Maker. Charles was a member of Im-manuel Lutheran Church in St. Clair and was very proud of the fact that his great-great-grandfather was one of the original founders of the church. He was stationed on an LST in the Pacific Ocean with the Navy in WWII and wounded in service at Gwam. He was a member of the DAV.

He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Florence; seven children, Dr. Rev. Donald (Judy) Brenner of San Diego, Retired Lieutenant Commander Robert (Carol) Brenner of San Diego, Jack (Karen) Brenner of St. Clair, Tom (Janyce) Brenner of St.

Clair, Susan (Joe) Hohmann of Smiths Creek, Richard (Tracy) Brenner of St. Clair and Barbara (John) Jowett of Alanson, ML; 27 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Edith Johnson of Sacramento, CA. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Joey Hohmann. Funeral services will be held at 1 1 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St.

Clair. The Rev. Alan Schwieger will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.

Frederick J. Bennett, 77, of Clyde died Tuesday, April 21, 1998 in Evangelical Home after a short illness. He was bom Sept. 26, 1920 in Port Huron, the son of Frederick M. and Alta Bennett, and was a life long area resident.

He married June H. Wilder on Jan. 5, 1946 in Port Huron. Mr. Bennett was employed by the St.

Clair County Road Commission from 1941 to 1982 and retired as Director of Purchasing. A. WWII veteran with 2 12 years overseas, with service in Africa, Scicily and Italy. He was a life member of VFW Post 796 and a life member of and past Sean Squirrel of the Military Order of the Cootie, the Honor Degree of the VFW. He was past Commander of Post 796, Past 10th District Commander of the VFW.

He was a member of the First Congregational Church in Port Huron. He is survived by a wife, June Hope (Wilder) Bennett of Clyde daughter, June Nyte Lundy of Burtchville; son, Frederick Charles Bennett of Clyde sisters, Hazel Hart of Smiths Creek, Mary Farro of Port Huron and Erie Vasques of Texas; brother, George Bennett of Clyde eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Nellie and Margaret and three brothers, Joseph, James and Benjamin. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave.

Barbara Ann Reichle ST. CLAIR Barbara Ann Reichle, of St. Clair, died Tuesday, April 21, 1998. She was the beloved mother of Kim (Glen) Tomkowiak, Linda (Dan) Carnahan and Donna (Stan) Liniarski; dear daughter of Arthur P. Nowinski; sister of Gerald (Eunice) Nowinski; and six grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Martin de Porres Church. Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today at the D.S.
