Mickey R. Blair of Westminster Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Visiting hours are 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Peabody, Don Harrison, Earl Ramsey, Bob Scheonrock and Dieter Hoffman. Bemice A. Condland and Mr. and Mrs. Tom (Connie) Moore of Ridgewood, New Jersey; five grandchildren, Michael, Justine, Patrick, Melissa and Jake; brother, Frank Moore of Marysville; two sisters-in-law, Bessie Moore of Fort Gratiot and Leona Moore of Port Huron; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Moore and Elmer Moore and his sister. Lulu Fal-lowfield. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev.

Daniel T. Stewart of Griswold St Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot Visitation will be 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Pallbearers will be his nephews.

Doug and Jeff Black, David and Kenny Moore, John Moore and Gordon Fallowfield. Memorials may be made to the Griswold Street Baptist Church Bus IUH She is survived by a son. John Albrecht of Port Huron; a daughter. Mr. and Mrs.

Dennis (Anna) Koehn; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson. Joseph and a brother, Stanley. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Father Arthur R. Baranowski will officiate. The Rite of Committal will follow at Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville. Pallbearers will be Jeff Robison, Jeff Spencer, David VanGilder. Don VanGlider, Ron Sutton and Steve Reed.

Linda McCartney dies of cancer Gannett News Service Linda Eastman McCartney, the photographer, performer and activist who captured rock stars' images and snared a Beatle's heart, died Friday in Santa Barbara, Calif. She was 56. Her husband, Paul McCartney, and children were with her when she died. 'The blessing was that the end came quickly, and she didn't suffer," said Mr. McCartney's London spokesman, Geoff Baker.

Linda McCartney was diagnosed with breast cancer in late 1995. Treatments had seemed to be working, but in March doctors learned Mary A. Albrecht Mary A. Albrecht MARYSVILLE Mary A. Albrecht, 75, of Marysville, died Wednesday, April 15.

1998 in Evangelical Home, Port Huron after a short illness. She was born May 7, 1922 in Hamtramck and lived in Marysville for more than thirty years. She married Jack Albrecht on Nov. 8, 1947 in Richmond. He died July 12, 1990.

Mrs. Albrecht retired in 1977 from Ford Motor Company after twenty-five years of service. She was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She belonged to Women of the Moose Chapter 99.

Call 989-6225 Leo J. Anthony Leo J. Anthony PORT HURON Leo Joseph Anthony, 81, went home to be with our Lord, Saturday morning, April 18, 1998 in his home with his children, JoAnn, Helen and Leo Jr. and his granddaughter, Angie at his side. He was born Dec.

15, 1916 in Port Huron and was a lifelong area resident. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Colclough on Feb. 8, 1941. She died May 23, 1991. Papa Leo loved his motorcycle.

He began a successful racing career in 1934 where he took second place at his first race. He went on to win the 3-mile, 5-mile and 10-mile races on half mile dirt tracks. In 1947 he won the 25-mile National Championship. He was inducted into the Charity Newsies Hall of Fame in 1979 and also the Port Huron Hall of Fame in 1980. He was sponsored by the Harley Davidson Company for more than 20 years.

He was a lifetime member of the Port Huron Motorcycle Club and also the Eagles Club of Port Huron. He is survived by three children, JoAnn (Bill) Navarre, Helen Lewandowski and Leo J. Anthony all of Port Huron; six grandchildren, William R. Navarre, Deb (Dave) Jan-derwski, Angie Lewandowski, Missy (Wayne) Wiczorek, Mark Lewandowski and Leo J. Anthony III all of Port Huron; six great-grandchildren, Dani, Shannon and Autumn Navarre, Ashley and Alexandra Wiczorek and Amber Janderwski.

Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends. He touched many lives and all who knew him, loved him. He was preceded in death by five sisters, Annie Burleigh, Kitty Kamin-ski, Jennie Fayed, Elizabeth Shamaly and Sadie Parks. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

The Rev. C. Paul Hig-don will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Visiting hours are 2 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Doug Loxton, Tom Cook, Jeff Edwards, Paul Logan, Tim Bartlett and Mike Slaught. Honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons. Memorials may be made to the family.

Smith, 79, of Port Huron died Saturday, April 18, 1998 in Port Huron Hospital following a long illness. She was born Dec. 9, 1918 in Port Huron, the daughter of the late Edward R. and Ethel B. O'Neil.

She married Robert G. Smith. He died Aug. 6, 1979. She attended Washington Ave.

United Methodist Church. Mrs. Smith is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert E. and Helen Smith of Naples. her daughter, Judith Smith of Port Huron; her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Fred Beaudry of Port Huron; her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Vickie Smith of Moraine, Ohio; her daughters and sons-in-law, Maureen and Robert Baker of Port Huron and Doreen and Joseph Raska of Smiths Creek; 20 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Henry Isbister of Smiths Creek.

She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Angela Dorothy Smith and Ryan Smith, a brother, Edward O'Neil and a sister, Eileen B. Fuller. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer at 17th St. Pastor Don Sperling will officiate.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery. Visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Pallbearers will be Jason Forbes, Joseph Raska, Jesse Baker, Chris Beaudry, Gary Smith and Michael Schwartz. Honorary pallbearer will be Timothy Smith.

Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Bernice A. Condland FORT GRATIOT Bemice A. Condland, 91, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday. April 19, 1998.

She as bom September 25, 1906 in Elmer Twp. Sanilac County and lived here most of her life. She married Harry Condland. He died March 8, 1974. Mrs.

Condland was employed in the health department of Prestolite for 36 years retiring in 1971 where she was an Industrial Nurse. She was a life member of the Order of the East-em Star, Chapter 170. She was a member of the Salvation Army, the St. Clair County Medical Center Auxiliary and a member of the Golden Agers where she will be best remembered as Assistant Director of Tours. She is survived by her daughter, Erdeen L.

Barr of Clyde; her grandson, Richard H. Barr of Fort Gratiot; her granddaughter, Cynthia L. Bock of Fort Gratiot; her grandson, Ronald W. (Beth) Barr of Avoca; her great-grandson, Garrett E. Gentner of Fort Gratiot; her great-granddaughter, Stephany M.

Barr of Port Huron; her great-grandson, Richard Barr of Port Huron; her great-granddaughter, Brit-nee R. Barr of Port Huron; and her niece, Maxine (Harold) Hobson of Sandusky. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin and Wilbert Pollard. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Major David W. Moffitt, Presiding Officer in charge of the Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Gratiot Twp. Visiting hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family. Leonard Moore Leonard Moore PORT HURON Leonard Moore, 75, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 18, 1998. He was bom August 13, 1922 in Jeddo, to the late John and Maud Moore. He married Alberta M. Baker on June 1, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio.

Mr. Moore was a WWII Army Veteran, having served in the 36th Field Hospital in the Pacific and was awarded the Purple Heart. He attended Griswold Street Baptist Church. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 50 years, Alberta M.

Loxton PORT HURON Gayle I. Loxton, 70, of Port Huron, died Saturday, April 18, 1998 in her residence after a long illness. She was born Nov. 4, 1927 in Port Huron and has been a lifelong area resident. She married Vaughan Loxton on June 17, 1950 in Port Huron.

Mrs. Loxton had worked from Chrysler Corporation in Marysville for 17 years. She had worked on the elections in Port Huron and was a member of AARP. She is survived by her husband, Vaughan; a son, Mr. and Mrs.

Richard (Debra) Loxton of Port Huron; three daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Linda) LaLone of Port Huron, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas (Sandra) Harrison of Charlotte, North Carolina and Sharon Loxton of Port Huron; three granddaughters, Mr.

and Mrs. Craig (Treasa) Nunez, Jennifer and Amanda Knisley; two grandsons, Michael and Shawn Harrison; great-granddaughter, Jackee Nunez; two sisters, Mr. and Mrs. John (Joann) Harris, Mr. and Mrs.
