This frame was used underpropping for a tidy lecture In tolerance and responsibility, all of it pretty painless. But the trouble with "Made In Japan" lay in its skeleton it was not a very welknade play. Its climax was not reached when the young GI decided to coness his errors late in the evening that event sort ci glided in and squatted in 'among a set of bones that had already gone, slack. The true climax of the play was reached, unfortunately, about halif way through the evening when a young Japanese, accused of the girl's death, hanged him- TURKEY SHOOT Bring your own shotguns and .22 rifles.

(AP) The 36 contestants in the America's Junior Miss pageant will switch categories again tonight in the final preliminary judging. The winner of the title and a $5,000 college scholarship will be decided tomorrow night.

Scholarships of $3,000, $1,000 and two for $500 will go to runnersup. Last year's winner in the first naeeant was Miss Phyllis Ann Whitenack of Bluefield, W. Va. She is reigning as queen this year. Sarah Churchill's Arrest Quietened LONDON (UPD-Actress Sarah Churchill's arrest on a drunkenness charge was front page news today only in Britain's opposition newspapers.

The pro-government dailies discreetly passed over it. Miss Churchill, 44 year old daughter of Sir Winston, was carried into a Liverpool court by four policemen Thursday and fined $5.60 for a drunken argument with a taxicab driver. She was in Liverpool appearing In the play "Peter Pan." When Miss Churchill was arrested on a similar drunk charge in Los Angeles in January, 1958, it was banner news on the front pages of all of Britain's newspapers. Today, most London dailies buried the story on their Inside pages. Some gave It only one paragraph.

Only the Herald and the Mirror, the opposition Labor Party organs, and the Communist Daily Worker put the story on the front pnge. None of the commented editorially.
