shooting GREENSBURG, La. (AP) An anonymous tip led state police to arrest a man and a woman for shooting and killing a Pine Grove man six years ago, authorities said. Kelly Lynn Barnard, 34, and Daldridge G. Bonnecaze, 45, were booked Monday in the death of Otha Ray Dorsey at his home on July 3, 2001, Louisiana State Po- lice Sgt. Markus Smith said.

At the time ofthe cold-case investigation, Barnard and Bonnecaze were in jail elsewhere in the state, awaiting trial on unrelated crimes, interim St. Helena Parish SheriffNat Williams said. On Monday, they were transported to Greensburg for booking in the Dorsey case, Williams said. The pair, who were believed to be living in Watson at the time of the Dorsey shooting, owed money to another drug dealer, so they decided to rob Dorsey, Smith said. The pair knew Dorsey kept cash at his house because they allegedly bought drugs from him in the past, troopers alleged.
