Jimmy Dorsey, the other topnotch bandleader in the Dorsey family, will guest on his brother Tommy's show tonight at 6:30 o'clock over NBC and KTBS.

Vocalist Stuart P'oster, Charlie Shavers and Ziggy Elman on trumpet, and the Clambake Seven, Dorsey 's "band within a band," are featured with the "Sentimental Gentleman." Ready for Richard's ready wlta will be Stormy Berry. 11, Lonny Lunde, 10, Naomi Bernards, 13, and Jack Rooney, 14. Joe Kelly will serve as quizmaster of ceremonies.

The "Quiz Kids" are heard every Sunday at 5:30 p. m. over KRMD. Hercule Poirot. vain but charming Belgian sleuth, solves bafrilng crimes, as he fays, "by use of the little gray cells." Formerly chief of the Belgian Surete, Poirot is now retired, his talents available to all criminal authorities.

For "Mystery of the Poirot has transferred activities to the United States. Harold Huber was to play Poirot by Mrs. Christie after she had seen him in London in the movie "Charlie Chan In Monte Carlo." Huber, an actcr of great versatility, achieved notable success on the stage in "Grand Hotel." and has appeared in more than lOO movies and in a number of radio shows. Carl Eastman directs "Mystery of the Week." Alfred Better writes the scripts. "Claire de Claude Debussy's ever-popular melody from his "Suite will be played by Dr.

Josef Hof mann when the internationally famous pianist Is guest artist on the "Telephone Hour," tomorrow night at 7:00 o'clock over NBC and KTBS. phonist and clarinetist, formed his first band, the rjor.wy Novelty orchestra, in his spare time away from his mining Job in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. The band was spotted by a talent scout soon afterward and Dorsey and his band played their first professional engagement at a Baltimore amusement park. In 1934, after playing with Paul Whiteman and Rudy Vallee, Jimmy and Tommy formed the famous Dorsey Brothers orchestra.

News 1.05 I Special Reports On Russia Scheduled For This Week on CBS CBS correspondent Farnsworth Fowle, en route home after 14 months of reporting from Moscow, will do a special series of five broadcasts on hie topic "Life In Russia," Monday through Friday August 19-23, at 4:15 p. m. over KWKH. The series was Inspired by Fowle's recent report on Russia which was broadcast on CBS' "Feature Story" July 23.

Until then hampered by Soviet censorship restrictions, Fowle, for the first time was able to offer an unexpurgated account of life In Russia. Response to Fowle's broadcast was so enthusiastic that Wells Church, acting CBS director of news broadcasts, assigned the ex-Moscow correspondent to do the rpecial series. Fowle has ben broadcasting for CBS since 1940. and except for a brief U. S.

holiday in late 1944, has spent these years In Africa. Sicily. Italy, Ankara and Sofia. He was born in Istanbul (Dec. 8, 1915) where his father was serving with the Congregational Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions.

He was graduated from Williams college In 1937, spent two years In advanced study at Oxford and Is a Rhodes scholar. Keep tuned to sued an album of records made with Paul Weston and his orchcrtra.
