32 THE STATE JOURNAL WednesdaySept. 27, 1961 Suzanne Griffin, Raymond Totte, Say Vows Lansing- Michigan A large reception at the Country Club of Lansing followed the recent wedding of Miss Suzanne Griffin, daughter of Mrs. Robert E. Griffin of 1700 W. Kalamazoo and the late Mr.

Griffin, to Raymond Totte, in Holy Cross church. The bride was graduated from Marygrove college, and the bridegroom is a graduate of Michigan State university. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Totte of 400 W.

Miller are parents of the bridegroom. A papal blessing, a gift of Miss Rose Griffin, was read at the nuptial mass. Given in marriage by her brother-in-law, W. Richard Miller, Suzanne wore a gown of ivory peau de soie designed with a bell-shaped skirt and detachable chapel length train. The bodice of the gown rose to a sabrina neckline.

Her bouffant veiling was held by a headpiece of pearls and lilies of the valley, and she carried white stephanotis and roses. Mrs. W. R. Miller of Pontiac served as her sister's honor matron, and bridesmaids were Mrs.

F. A. Tallmadge, another sister of the bride; and Miss Jeannie Hughes of Scarsdale, N. cousin of the bridegroom. Their gowns were of American beauty velvet and they wore matching headbands.

They carried pink and white flowers. James F. Burns served as best man, and ushers were Leo Farhat, Joseph DeRose and Charles Grogan of Minneapolis, Minn. After the reception at the Country Club, the senior Tottes entertained guests at their home. For her honeymoon trip to New York and Bermuda, the new Mrs.

Totte changed to a royal blue three-piece knit ensemble. Mrs. Griffin wore a blue brocade dress for her daughter's wedding and Mrs. Totte chosa a beige brocade. Following the honeymoon trip, the newlyweds will make their home on Fontaine trail.
