"We really have to keep a close eye on that rate," he said, but added that there is no immediate danger, Markland said.

Sandusky operates one well full-time and a second on a part-time basis, he said. The other three are reserve wells, he said. Continued from 1A ning, he said. The 1987 budget was $4.3 million, said Superintendent James D. Sundermann. The district expects an increase in state aid from $1.04 million last year to $1.16 million this year, he said. The budget, which takes effect July 1, also has grown because the district expects four more students next year, he said. The district had about 1,427 students last month.

Earlier this month, Capac voters approved an 18.73-mill renewal but rejected a 3.5-mill increase. The board is expected to schedule another millage election at its July meeting, Sundermann said. SPECIAL! Shell Wind Chimes ,4 bat. a iun. unty si.
