Fox Grandville Age 40, survived by his wife of 14 years, Lori; his children, Zach and Maddie; parents, James and Joan Fox; sister, Julie Fox; brother, Jary (Erica) Fox and their chilSteve; and Linda dren, Kammeraad; Emma and Katelyn; -in-law, parents (Brian) Rogalske and their children, Ashley, Nathan and Emily; brother-in-law, Kevin (Stephanie) Kammeraad and their children, Carlos and Maria; and many extended family members and friends. Scott enjoyed the outdoors and would hike, fish, and camp often. He was a sports enthusiast, rooting for the Redwings, Tigers, and MSU sports. Preceding Scott in death is his father Jim Simpson; grandparents Leslie Simpson, and Harry and Noma Kowalk. Surviving are his daughter Crystal Simpson; parents Loreen and Jeffery Morgan; grandmother Marian Simpson; brother Kevin (Jana) Morgan; aunt Lee Heck; and uncle John (Sandi) Simpson. Services will be at 11:30 a.m.

Monday, April 26, 2010 with a one-hour visitation before at Bretton Woods Covenant Church, 925 Bretton Lansing, officiated by Pastor Andrew Gates and followed by interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Earl E. Thompson Lansing Age 58, died April 22, 2010; born August 31, 1951 in Charlotte, Michigan. Earl was the owner and operator of Thompson's Car Clinic in Lansing. He enjoyed riding his Harley, had a love for classic cars, particularly his Oldsmobile golf, relaxing at his cabin, hunting with his boys and spending time with his family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, Susan; 2 sons, Bradley (Aricyn) Thompson and Kevin (Jessica) Thompson both of Lansing; 8 grandchil- dren, Derrick, Sabrina, Kaleb, Daisy May, Owen, Alexander, James and Nathan; father, Earl A.

Thompson; mother, Barbara Frayer of Charlotte; brother, Kirk (Jeanne) Frayer of Bath; 2 sisters, Jean (Steve) McKenna of Laingsburg and Connie (John) Morales of Olivet. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Trinity Church, 3355 Dunckel Road, Lansing. He was born July 4, 1915 in Mecosta County, near Morley, Michigan to William H. and Nellie Henrietta (Sprowl) Baxter. Clayton graduated from Morley High in 1933, joined the Civilian Conservation Corps where he was in charge of the infirmary. moved to Grand Ledge in 1935, enrolling in a post-graduate commercial course where he met Frances H.

Moore, whom he married April 11, 1937. He moved to Lansing, Michigan and was of Bonded Building Supplies and later Baxter Custom Kitchens, winning several awards for his designs. He attended University of Michigan studying drafting. He sold his business in 1965. He attended of real estate class, became a realtor and retired in 1985.

He then became a certified health care aide, pursuing that career until 1994. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church since 1970 transferring from Mt. Hope Methodist Church, lifetime member of Masonic Lodge and WWII veteran with the United States Army Air Forces. Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn J. Bateman (Kenneth L.

deceased); a son, Bruce E. (Janet Baxter; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great- Also surviving is a sister, Alice I. Lawitzke of Tampa, FL. Preceding him in death were his wife of 72 years, Frances H. Baxter; 2 grandsons, Jeffrey A.

Bateman and Steven L. Bateman; his parents; sister, Erma L. Van Dyke; and brothers, Gerald Baxter and Carl Baxter. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel with the Rev.

Rae L. Franke of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. A Masonic service will immediately follow the funeral. Interment with military honors will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m.

Chi-Chi graduated Belleville High School Class of 1965. She was also a graduate of Michigan State University with a B. A. and two Masters degrees. She retired from the Executive Development Programs, Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, MSU.

was an avid Michigan State loved football. She is survived by her mother Mrs. John "Kay" Stopa of Belleville, her sister Christine (William) Gesdorf of Jacksonville, FL. Preceded in death by her father Dr. John Stopa.

I Betty J. Anderson Age 79, Betty Anderson, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010 surrounded by family. John was 74, and his passing marked the end of a long struggle with Lewy Body Dementia. John was our rock, our light and will remain our inspiration. In our hearts he will never be absent.
