Barrett, 84, formerly of 2651 Military died Monday, Oct. 19, 1987, in Port Huron Hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1902, in Sarnia, and lived in Port Huron most of her life. Her husband, Clair H.

Barrett, died Dec. 12, 1962. Mrs. Barrett was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Charles F.

Barrett of Port Huron; two brothers, Irving Kilbreath of Anacortes, and Burton Kilbreath of Simcoe, Ontario; nine grandchildren, Thomas C. and Charles E. Barrett, Mrs. Judy Chargot and Mrs. Barbara Raetzel, all of Port Huron, Mrs.

Patricia Strehl of Denver, Ted Barrett of Satnnaw. Robert Plains and Mrs. Anne Hayman of Florida; and seven grandchildren. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m.

in St. Mary's Mystical Rose Church. Burial will be in the Christian Memorial Cemetery, Avon Township. Visiting is to 9 p.m. today.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Michigan Cancer Foundation. Charles E. Hagemeister MELVIN Charles E.

Hagemeister, 48, of 7402 Brockway Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1987, in his home. He was born May 2, 1939, in Lapeer. He married Gwendolyn Miller Nov. 2, 1959, in Shelby Township.

He was a graduate of Romeo High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. for seven years. He was a member of Peck American Legion Post 489.

Mr. Hagemeister and his wife owned and operated Chuck's General Store on Brockway Road, Melvin, since 1975. He is survived by his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles II and Patti of Snover and John and Pauline of Melvin; one daughter, Cindy Hagemeister of Port Huron; and a grandson, John Mark II. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Carman Funeral Home, Peck.

Burial will be in Speaker Township Cemetery. Joseph L. 'Bing' Pauly MARINE CITY Joseph L. "Bing" Pauly, 7, died Thursday, Oct 22, 1987. He was born Jan.

3, 1920, in St. Clair Township. He married Ruth G. Furtah Nov. 8, 1947, in St.

Clair. Mr. Pauly was a carpenter. He was a World War II veteran and member of Marine City Post 3129, VFW. He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Gloria Stevens of Marine City; two sons, Joseph of Florida and Richard of Algonac; a stepdaughter, Ruth Gill of Algonac; a stepson, Herb Stokes of Monroe; his mother, Lena Pauly; four brothers, Robert, Edward, James and Jack; two sisters, Cedia and Mary; 19 grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Jr. and Harold. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Bower-Rose Funeral Home. The Rev.

Arthur H. Jacobi Jr. will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visiting is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

today. Elizabeth Parise ARMADA Elizabeth Parise, 57, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1987, in Harper Hospital, Detroit. She was born May 12, 1930, in Romeo and was a lifelong area resident. She married Tony Parise June 12, 1948, in Armada.

Mrs. Parise is survived by her husband; two sons, Frank and Mark, both of Armada; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Toni) Mosure of Deckerville, Mrs. Tim (Denise) Krumholz of Sterling Heights and Mrs. Kevin (Marlene) Yatros of Romeo; four brothers, Frank Dombrowski of Armada, Stanley Dombrowski of Marine City, Joseph Dombrowski of California and Henry Dombrowski of Rochester; two sisters, Mrs.

Sophie Maybee of Drayton Mrs. Kane worked on many projects for the St Clair Fire Department and Palmer Park Manor. She is survived by four sons, Richard of Warren, Michael of Palmetto, James of Troy and Robert of St. Clair; three daughters, Kathleen Ferret and Dolores Hogan, both of Sterling Heights, and Claudia Tomczak of Westland; two sisters, Margaret Kuzava of Southgate and Nellie Wilkenson of Texas; one brother, Earl Munroe of Arizona; 17 grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild. Services will be held at 10 a.m.

Saturday in St. Mary's Catholic Churc, St. Clair. The Rev. Edward Ritter, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in Ferndale Cemetery, Riverview. Visiting is from 2-9 p.m. today in the L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the St. Clair Fire Department. Isabelle Archambault ALGONAC Isabelle M.

Archambault, 86, died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1987, in Faith Medical Care Center, St. Clair. She was born April 16, 1901, in Alpena, and lived in this area for many years. She married Oliver L.

Archambault in 1940 in Detroit. He died in 1974. She was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Bernice Champine of Al-gonac; two sisters, Anne Powell of Rochester Hills and Rose E.

Charbonneau of Southfield; four grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Gilbert Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Catherine's Catholic Church.

The Rev. Raymond M. Donahue will officiate. Burial will be in St. Catherine's cemetery.

Visiting is from 1-9 p.m. today. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today. OBITUARIES Ann Britz Stockburger NEW BALTIMORE Ann Britz Stockburger, 80, died Thursday, Oct.

22, 1987, in Mount Clemens General Hospital after a long illness. She was born March 24, 1907, in Carsonville and has lived in New Baltimore for seven years. She was a former St. Clair and Port Huron resident. Her husband, Frederick Stockburger, died July 10, 1960.

Mrs. Stockburger was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Roseville. She was founder of the Peru Bible Study. She is survived by two daughters, Jean Solosky of New Baltimore, and Marilyn VanSlyke of Port Huron; one brother, Matthew Britz of Port Huron; four grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the L.C. Freiderichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. The Rev.

Sam Woodard will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City. Visiting is from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday.

Memorials may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church or the Heart Association. Earl C. VerHage ZEELAND Earl C. VerHage, 88, died Wednesday, Oct. 21, 1987.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Maurice (Norma) Godwin of St. Clair; one son, Ward of Me-chanicsburg, six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two nephews. At the families request there will be no funeral services. Burial will be in the Zeeland Cemetery.

Visiting is from p.m. Saturday in the Yntema Funeral Home, 16 E. Main Zeeland. Barrett of West Bloomfield, David Barrett of Chicago and Fred Barrett of Harbor Springs; and several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m.

Powell PORT HURON Grace B. Powell, 97, of 3025 Military died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1987, in Marwood Manor. She was born Jan. 20, 1890, in Port Huron and was a lifelong resident.

She married William Powell Jan. 20, 1947, in Port Huron. He died in November 1973. Mrs. Powell was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, and the E.C.W.

of the church. She was past president of Ladies circle. She was a life member of the Mystic Chapter No. 58 O.E.S. She is survived by one son, Milton "Bud" Kelly of Port Huron; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Seifert "Pete," in 1959. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Grace Episcopal Church. Canon D. Roy Lees, rector, will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lyle Frank, Kenneth Walker, and Herbert, Ronald, Gary and Hal Bradley. Visiting is from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in the Arthur Smith Funeral Homes-South Chapel.
