THE TIMES HERALD PORT HURON, MICH. Wednesday, July 11, 1979 Obituaries Obituaries Malcolm G. Miller Ray M. Icenogle GOODELLS Malcolm George Miller, 80, died Tuesday, July 10, 1979, in St. Clair County Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

He was born June 13, 1899, in Wyoming, Ont. Formerly of Detroit and Pontiac, he lived in the Port Huron area 10 years. Mr. Miller was a barber before his retirement. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs.

Roy K. (Joyce) Maynard, Jeddo; two sisters, Mary Boges, Sarnia, and Mrs. Gerald C. (Dorothy) Ferguson, Bellingham, and a granddaughter. Services will be at 11 a.m.

Thursday in Pollock- Funeral Home, Port Huron. Major G. Bruce Smith, of the Salvation Army, will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Louis LaParl, Louis LaParl George Calvin Chisholm, Joseph Jehl and Russell Strang will be pallbearers.

Funeral home visiting hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Medical Center. Bartlett C. Graham PORT HURON Bartlett C.

Graham, 85, of 1752 McPherson, died Wednesday, July 11, 1979, in his home after a sixmonth illness. He was born July 1, 1894, in Port Huron, and was a lifelong resident. He married Bertha E. Davis Nov. 26, 1919, in Port Huron.

Mr. Graham was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I. He was a 25-year employee of Port Huron Paper retiring in 1959. He was a crossing guard for the City of Port Huron at the corner of Mansfield Street and Pine Grove Avenue for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Clifford L. and Donald all of Port Huron; a daughter, Mrs. John (Thalya) Franz, Warren; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Arthur Smith Funeral Home, North Chapel.

The Rev. John Robinson, of Port Huron Christian Church. will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Members of Charles Schoor Post 796.

VFW. will be pallbearers. Funeral home visiting hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.

Mrs. George Hudson MARLETTE May N. Hudson, 94. of 2493 Juhl Road, died Monday, July 9. 1979.

in Marlette Extended Care Facility. She was born Oct. 19, 1884. in Koylton Township. She married George Hudson June 12.

1907, in Marlette. He died Jan. 13. 1955. Mrs.

Hudson was a member of Marlette Second Presbyterian Church and Clifford Rebekah Lodge 401. She is survived by two sons, Orville. Marlette, and Basil. Frankenmuth; a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Alma) VanEtten, Marlette: six grandchildren: 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-greatgrandchild.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Marsh Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Aaron Hyde, pastor of Marlette Second PresbyChurch, will officiate. Burial will terian, Marlette Cemetery.

Decatur, died Monday. July 9. 1979. in 'Adams County Memorial Hospital. He married Agnes Brown May 8.

1926. She died Dec. 2. 1973. Mr.

Bollinger was a retired employee of the City of Decatur. He is survived by a son. The Rev. C. William Bollinger.

Kann DETROIT Clara Stein Kann. 89. died Thursday. July 5. 1979.

She was born Feb. 21, 1890, in St. Clair. She was the widow of Richard T. Kann.

Mrs. Kann is survived by four sisters. Mrs. Emma Kimble, Mrs. Carl (Ruth) Eitner.

Mrs. Alfred (Elsie) Kunert and Mrs. O. Tom (Dorothy) Nelson; and two brothers. The Rev.

Fred C. Stein, St. Clair, and Arnold. Three sisters. Hulda Koepke; Charlotte: and Johanna Schneider; and three brothers.

The Rev. W. Eduard: Martin: and John. died earlier. Services were July 9 in Messiah Lutheran Church.

He was born May 24, 1898, in Beardstown, Ill. Formerly of Allen Park, he lived in Port Huron three years. He married Esther C. Tack Sept. 6, 1919, in Detroit.

Mr. Icenogle was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I. He owned and operated West Fort Auto Repair, Detroit, before his retirement. He was a member and past grand of Fraternal Lodge 410, IO0F, Detroit.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lula) Tanner, South Euclid, Ohio, and Mrs. Stephen (Jane) Parker, Port Huron; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Daisy) Williamson, Lincoln Park, and Mrs. Sidney (Myrtle) Young, Detroit; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Arthur Smith Funeral Home, North Chapel. The Rev. Russell McKenzie, a retired Episcopal rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery, Royal Oak.

Funeral home visiting hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Lisa M. Smith MARINE CITY Lisa M. Smith, 3, 7010 Marsh Road, died Monday, July 1979, in her home after a lengthy illness.

She was born Feb. 25, 1976. Lisa is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walker L.

(Suzanne) Smith; two brothers, Christopher and Brian; and 1 a sister, Allison; all of Marine City; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Huber Kessel and Lee Smith, all of Marine City, and Ocie Thompson, Virginia. Services were Tuesday in Holy Cross Cemetery, The Rev. George Brown, associate pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church, officiated.

Arrangements were made by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Henry Ford Hospital Pediatric Unit. Edward A. Riedel ST. CLAIR Edward A.

Riedel, 53, of 603 N. 6th died Tuesday, July 10, 1979, in Henry Ford Hospital. Detroit, after a lengthy illness. He was born April 12. 1926, in Casco Township.

He married Avis Shovan Jan. 25. 1956. Mr. Riedel served in the U.S.

Army during World War II. He was a custom painter for many years. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Edward A. II. and John, all of St.

Clair: two daughters, Sindy Ryan, Port Huron, and Michelle Rucinski, St. Clair; two sisters, Marion Paquette, Marine City, and Gloria Measle. Flint: and three grandchildren. A brother. Howard, died in October 1978.

Famed document exhibited GETTYSBURG, Pa. (AP) In 1864. attorney David Wills tried to have a copy of Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address displayed here. The priceless manuscript has finally made it home. The original draft of the 269-word speech, carried here by Lincoln 116 years ago, was displayed Saturday in a dimly lit vault here, the site of the bloodiest battle ever fought on American soil.

Thursday. Mrs. Marie J. McClune MARINE CITY Marie J. McClune, 79, of 315 Westminster died Sunday, July 8, 1979, in University Hospital, Ann Arbor, after a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 4, 1889, in Canada. Mrs. McClune is survived by a two daughters, Mrs. Corrine Dristy, Marine City, and Mrs.

Carol Zang, Oakridge, three sons, William and Jack, both of California, and Richard, Marine City; a sister, Mrs. Eugenie Vorrasi, Florida; 11 grandchildren; and eight great Cremation grandchildren. Woodmere Cemetery, Detroit. Arrangements were made by Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Mrs.

Leonard Rosbury 21, SANDUSKY Sarah M. Rosbury, 84, of 162 W. Sanilac Road, died Tuesday, July 10, 1979, in McKenzie Memorial Hospital. She was born June 10, 1895, in Kitchener, Ont. She married Leonard Rosbury Jan.

31, 1917, in Argyle. He died Jan. 7, 1970. Mrs. Rosbury was a member of St.

Joseph's Altar Society. She is survived by a son, Harvey, Flint; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Beatty, Sandusky, Mrs. Richard Hood, Flint, and Mrs. Harley Wismer, Clio; two brothers, William Eckenswiller, Port Huron, and George Eckenswiller, Livonia; a sister, Mary Robison, Livonia; 18 grandchildren; and 38 greatgrandchildren.

A daughter, Helen Tobi, died in 1969. A son, Oliver, died in 1918. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

The Rev. Marion Kryscak, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery, Deckerville. Visiting hours in Mavis Funeral Home begin at 7p.m. today.
