Seitzinger of Godfrey, passed away early this morning at the Lawrence County Hospital in Lawrenceville, HI. She had been In failing health for several months. Others surviving are two daughters, Mrs.

Glen Montgomery with whom she had made hor home, Mrs. Dale Moore of LeMesa, three grandchildren and one great grandchild Her husband, Carl E. Seitzinger, preceded her in death in 1945. The body is at the Bond Funeral Home in Flat Rock, 111. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Harris EDWARDSVILLE Mrs. Irma Springer Harris, 88, a teacher in the Edwardsville School System 30 years, died at 4:40 p.m. Monday at Washington County, Hospital, Nashville, 111. where she had been a patient the past year. Born Jan.

2, 1897 at Edwardsville, a daughter of the late Henry J. and Virginia Evans Springer, she was married June 6, 1908 to Warren D. Harris who died March 20, 1913. She is survived by a son, Warren Harris of California; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia R.

Paul's Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. The Rev. Simon Coleman will officiate at the service. The body will be moved Wednesday from Bagbee Funeral Home to the church where friends may call after 7 p.m. Mr.

Smith died Sunday at 2 a.m. at his home, 1021 Union following an illness of three months. A son of the Rev. and Mrs. William Smith, he was born Sept.

21, 1900. His wife, the former Irene Jackson, preceded him in death. Mr. Smith was a veteran of World War I. Survivors are five daughters, Mrs.

Bertha Slighten, Osceola, Mrs. Frankie Lee Curry, turrell, Mrs. Rachel Clark, Marion, Mrs. Ozzie May Love and Mrs. Kizzie Knighten, West Memphis, two sons, Melvin, Kansas City, and Isaac Indianapolis, Ind.

Thomas Mrs. Sarah Jane Thomas, 91, a native of Calhoun County and resident there until moving to Nebo in 1941, died Monday in a hospital at Pittsfield. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Clendenny, early settlers in Calhoun County, Mrs.

Thomas was born Feb. 28, 1874, at Mozier. She and her family had been active in organization of Church of Christ Church in Calhoun County. She was married Jan. 29, ALTON DEWEY E.

Four brothers, a sister, and a grandson preceded her in death. The body is at Ward Funeral Home, Pleasant HU1, where friends may call.

Funeral services will be Wed nesday at 2 p.m. in Church of Christ, Nebo, followed by burial in Crescent Heights Cemetery, Pleasant Hill. Ferguson JERSEYVILLE Guy T. Ferguson, 80, retired Ashland, 111., businessman, died Monday at 3:15 in Jersey Community Hospital where he had been a patient since Friday. He had been in Green Lawn Nursing Home, Jerseyville, for 18 months prior to entering the hospital.

He was the father of Thomas Roe Ferguson, Jerseyville, and a brother of Robert Ferguson, Wood River. He was born at Ashland and had lived there all his life until he entered the nursing home. Beside his son and brother he is survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Mary Parsons, a daughter and four brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m.

in Gainer Funeral Home, Ashland. Visiting hoursat the funeral home will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday. in St. Louis.

There are two sons, Quentin Bellwood, 111., and Wilbur Tulsa, two grandsons and two granddaughters. Pending time of the funeral the body was at Jacoby Bros. Funeral Home. The baby was born prematurely March 27, in Jersey Community Hospital and died Sunday in Christian Welfare Hospital, East St. Louis. Survivors beside his parents are his grandparents, Mrs.

Ed na Bean, Jerseyville; Eugene Ciendenny, Dow, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cappler of Jerseyville. Maxeiner Amos J. Maxeiner, 88, a retired tailor, who had been employed at his trade in Alton for 60 years previous to his retirement seven years ago, died at 12:15 a.m.

today at his home, 616 Langdon St. He had been in failing health hree years and in and out of hospitals several times. Mr. Maxeiner was widely acquainted in the West Third Street business district where he had been employed for many years at the Schweppe store and then at the Louis J. Hartmann store.

He had last worked at Stork Cleaners and Furriers. Born in Foster Township, Oct. 26, 1876, he was a son of the late Henry Philip and Margaret Fiofmeister Maxeiner. He bad lived in Alton 75 years. He attended the Fosterburg schools.

and Mrs. Ransom Weeks. His first wife, the former Henrietta Johnston died in 1950 and in 1953 he was married to Lisse Tickner of Alton, who survives. Mr. Weeks was a veteran of World War I and a member of Calvary Church.

In addition to his widow he is iurvived by a daughter, Mrs. Casper Crivello, Brighton; a step-son, Claude Tickner, Alton; three brothers, J. V. Weeks, Golconda; W. Weeks, Ports- City, and W.

W. Weeks, Ports- muth, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Lulu Buchanan, Golcondo; Mrs. Nola Metcalf, Leachville, and Mrs. Herschel Ponzer, Barnhart, Mo.
