Couple tell plans for their wedding TRIBBETT--Martha Louise Wicks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Elliott Wicks of Tribbett, and Robert Andrew of Gloster today reveal the plans for their wedding. The United Methodist Church in Leland will be the setting for the double ring ceremony at 2 p.m.

Saturday. The Rev. J. H. Morris will officiate with nuptial music presented by Mrs.

Rex Livingston, organist. The bride will be given in marriage by her father. Mrs. James Finklea of Sacramento, will be her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids will be Harriet Haag of Brookhaven and Susan Shepherd cousin of the bride of Indianola.

Edgar Elliott Wicks III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wicks Jr. of Hollandale will be the ringbearer. Tommy McNeil of Gloster will be his brother's best man.

Groomsmen will be Billy Rainwater of Gloster and Ed Wicks Jr. of Hollandale, brother of the bride. Ushers will be Jim Burnside of Carthage and Jackie Courson of Hickory Flat. A reception will be given by the bride's parents at the Deer Creek Town and Racquet Club immediately following the ceremony. I CYO holds I May crowning '25, Alice Bell officers Mrs.

Alice Bell gardeners have luncheon Tuesday SHAW Communicants at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw recently observed the May Crowning of the Blessed Virgin Mary, when Lisa Cuicchi was crowned by members of the Catholic Youth Organization.

Miss Cuicchi, the 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cuicchi, is a graduate of Bayou Academy at Boyle. For the crowing ceremony she wore a white maxi dress. Her flower girls were Nancy and Carol Reginelli who wore blue dresses trimmed with pink roses.

The altar was decorated with pink, white and blue larkspur and pink and white snapdragons. Commentator was Joe Olmi, and organist was James E. Robinson Jr. of Skene. Devotions consisted of the Rosary, hymns, and Act of Consecration to the Blessed Mary.

Recently wed Special Mr. and Mrs. John Dean Henley are at home in Shaw following their wedding on May 30 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Shaw. The bride is the former Miss Debra Reginelli, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Armando Reginelli and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Henley.

Couple say wedding vows in Clarksdale CLARKSDALE--Henri Alyce Fuller of Clarksdale became the bride of Ronald Dale Grantham of Crystal Springs in a ceremony at 4 p.m. May 29 at St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Clarksdale. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs.

William Pressley Fuller of Clarksdale and Mrs. Carl Grantham and the late Mr. Grantham of Crystal Springs. The Rev. Paul E.

Russell of Trinity United Methodist Church in Greenville officiated along with the Rev. Glyn Wiygul of St. Pauls Church. An arrangement of white gladioli, majestic daisies and pom pon chrysanthemums centered the altar flanked by wrought iron candelabra entwined with smilax. Nuptial music was provided by Patti Porterfield, organist, and a quartet sung by Mr.

and Mrs. Frank Foster, Francis Hinman and Mrs. George Bounds. The bride, given in marriage by her father wore a gown of white silk organza over peau de soie with venise lace bodice. Her bouquet was of white roses and gypsophelia centered with a white orchid.

Ann Harland Green of Corinth was the maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Susan Kozisek of Clarksdale. They wore period frocks of aqua and white checked dotted Swiss with a white bolero giving a pinafore effect in front. They wore wreaths of fresh flowers and matching velvet ribbon in their hair and carried bouquets of blue carnations white roses and star flowers. Larry Grantham of Crystal Springs was his brother's best man.

Groomsman was Carey Grantham, brother of the groom from Vicksburg. Billy Fuller, brother of the bride of Clarksdale; Robby McLeod of Fannin, and Bobby Spring of Bogue Chitto were the ushers. The reception was held at the church Immediately following the ceremony. Assisting at the reception wept Fran Houscr of Jackson, Debbie McAlilly of New Albany; Ellen Turner of Leland; Mrs. Billy Dale Godfrey of Jackson; Hobin Beverly, Linda Luclcett and Beth Fowlkes, nil of CKirksdalc.

Rice girls were Marilyn Ashcrnft of Kosciusko and Tiffany Grantham of Crystal Springs. For her wedding trip to the Gulf Coast, the liri.ii' wore a knit pantsuit and the orchid Ire." her bouquet. The couple will live in JiiriKon where both arestudenls. Alice Bell Garden held its annual spring luncehon at the Greenville Country Club Tuesday. Ivy extended the length of the dining tables with a bird cage centered with magnolias and small birds decorated the head table.

Mrs. John Young gave the innvocation. Mrs. Jack Gardner, president, welcomed Mrs. George Crittenden, a guest and a new member, Mrs.

Francis P. Unkel. She reported on the year's activities of the club including visiting open gardens, placing books in the library, planting trees at Susie school and Fannie Arnold Park, sponsoring the junior garden club, sending seeds to parchman and taking arrangements to Bessie J. Taylor home for Garden Bridge party fetes bride A bridge and rice bag party on May 25 honored Nan Hollingsworth, bride-elect of William Thomas Fountain. Hostess was Mrs.

M. P. Neff Jr. at whose home (he party was held. The honoree chose a red pantsuit.

Mixed arrangements of spring flowers were used in the home. Special guest was the honoree's mother, Mrs. Thomas Hollingsworth. Nineteen guests attended. Therapy, World Gardening by sending money to be used for seeds for foreign countries.

She also listed various programs on conservation and horticulture. Mrs. Jerome Hafter installed the 1971-72 officers in a ceremony using various colored (lowers to symbolize each office. The officers are president, Mrs. John W.

Williams; vice president, Mrs. Henry Tucker; second vice president, Mrs. Ware Neblett; corresponding secretary, Mrs. Floriana Donovan; recording secretary, Mrs. Brodie Crump; and treasurer, Mrs.

Lyman Reed. Mrs. Gardner was presented a gift on behalf of the club in appreciation of the year's work. She then turned over the gavel to Mrs. Williams who spoke briefly on the goal and aim of the club in the new year.

She reminded members of the River Road District meeting June 2 in Leland. About 35 members attended. Hostesses were Mrs. J. B.

Wiseman, chairman; Mrs. Jack Gardner, Mrs. R. J. Byers, Mrs.

John W. Williams, Mrs. N. G. Fairchild.
