Elkton Rev. and Mrs. Herbert Eicher, Jackson, are guests of the Jacob Eicher and E. J. Bixler fam ilies.

L'bly Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Duggan, Port Sanilac, and son Robert, Detroit, visited the Michael McNamara family. Peck Miss Barbara Foster, Chicago, arrived Christmas day to spend the holidays with her par ents. Ubly Douglas Frantz, Des Moines, is spending the holi days in his home here. son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Buike, in the Presbyterian church in Na poleon, Oct 5. They were at tended by Miss Mildred Buike and Lloyd Freeman.

Mr. and Mrs. Buike will live in Detroit, where Mr. Buike is employed. Briefs Ubly Melvin Allen, Merrill Hagen, Clarence Rosinski, Pete Rathbun, Justin Miller and Emil Sobray have returned from a season of sailing.

Kinde Lieut, and Mrs. Clark Selby and son, Scheel, have returned from a visit in Detroit. Kinde Mrs. Fred Empkie is spending a week with friends and relatives in Detroit. Kinde Mrs.

and Mrs. Charles Ferris, one-fourth mile south of here burned Tuesday. The blaze was discovered a few minutes after Mr. and Mrs. Ferris had left for Port Huron, by a crew of bridge construction employes working on US-2d in front of the house.
