WXYZ-TV-7 CKIW-TV- Saginaw WKNX-TV-57 WJBK-TV-2 WWJ-TV-4 Bay City WNEM-TV-5 Playhouse 90 Reschedules War Romance "Rumors of Evening," with a cast headed by Barbara Bel Geddes and John Kerr, has been rescheduled for presentation on Play house 90 at 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Channels 2 and 57. The 90-minute drama of a World War II romance, which will originate "live" in Television City, Hollywood, was originally scheduled for presentation April 10 but was postponed because of the now settled CBS strike. Co starring with Miss Bel Geddes and Kerr will be Robert F. Simon, Pat Hitchcock and Robert Loggia.

Barbara Bel plays Sidney Cantrell, an English girl who falls in love with a young married American pilot stationed near London. John Kerr is seen in the role of the pilot, Capt. Neil Dameron. Miss Bel Geddes makes her Playhouse 90 debut in "Rumors of Evening." Kerr scored last season on Playhouse 90 in "The Ninth Day." Playhouse 90 won five Emmy awards, including "Best dramatic anthology series," at the annual award dinner April 15.
