THURSDAY, SEPTE51BER 8, 10 Fall Meal Shows Stuffed Peppers Creole Style Dish Can Be Topped With Brazil Nut Cookies Time now lo begin collecting recipes for cooler nlshu Lei's begin willi stuffed green peppers and Brazil nut cooklp.s. t'reole Stuffed Peppers (Make* « servings) Six medium green peppers 1 small onion, dropped, 1 cup ground cooked ham (or 1-4 pound dried beef), 3 tablespoons fat, melted, one 10(i-ounce can condensed tomato soup. 1-2 cup cofnmeal, 1 egg, sllslitly boatea. Heal oven to 375 degrees P. (moderate). Remove seeds and lops from peppers. Combine remaining Ingre- dicnls, mixing well, stuff peppers. Place upright in greased 2-quart baking dish; add water to cover bottom of dish. Cover and bake one hour at 375 degrees F. Quirk Mix Brazil Nul Cookies (Vtrlrl: 3 doien cookies) One cup sifted all-pui-poso flour, I leapsoon baking powder, 1-2 teaspoon salt, 1-2 teaspoon cinnamon, 3-4 cup fat, 1 1-4 cups firmly-packed brown sugar, 1-3 cup mill:. 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 3 cups rolled oats, 1-2 cup chocolate pieces, 3-4 cup chopped Brazil nu(s.
