Chicago, IL Formerly of Lansing Born June 3, 1957 in New York City. Age 28, died January 15 at Masonic Medical Center, Chicago, IL. James was the son of Gloria Granger Dawson, who preceded him in death (1964); grandson of the late Gerald G. "Doc" Granger, photographer. He is survived and was raised by maternal grandparents, Catherine and Jack Leith, formerly of Lansing and now living in Las Vegas, NV.

He is also survived by an uncle, Gerald and wife, Virginia Granger and many loving cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II and was a member of the Eagle Lodge of Grayling, MI, the Elks Lodge of Angola, IN, the American Legion, and the Voiture 40 et8 Chateau of Lansing. He was the beloved father of Sharron Spenny and son-in-law, Harry A. Spenny, II of Lansing; beloved grandfather of Michael, Theresa, and Jeffrey Spenny, all of Lansing; and a very special friend of Marylou Ryder of Lansing; also surviving are 4 nieces and 1 nephew. Owosso Age 14, passed away February 18, 1986 at a local hospital. She was born in Owosso, December 14, 1971. She attended Owosso Elementary and Junior High Schools. She also attended Owosso Wesleyan Church and belonged to 4-H and the C. F.

Youth Camp. Diane had a lifelong fight with Cystic Fibrosis and was a Poster Child. She was the child of Gary and Jane (Sherwood) Martenis. Surviving father, Gary and step mother, Linda Marie; 2 sisters, Lene Diann and Mysti Monica; 2 step brothers, Eric Vincent and Chad Vincent; 1 step sister, Amber Marie Vincent, all at home; mother of Owosso; grandmother, Cecilia Martenis of Owosso; grandmother, Mrs. Sam (Nellie) Sherwood of Ovid; step grandparents, Richard and Betty Ackels of Ovid; step great grandmother, Edith Young of Ovid; and step grandparents, Glenn and Lillian Conger of Owosso.

Midland, TX Formerly of Charlotte Age 58, died February 15, 1986 in Midland, TX. He was a maintenance manager for Balcor Corporation, and a veteran of World War II with the 82nd Airborne. Surviving are his wife, Sally; his mother, Mabel of Texas; 3 sons, Clay of Flint, Tyson and Dale of Memphis, TN; 2 grandchildren; a brother, Terry; 3 sisters, Kay Warren, Wilma Curry, and Glenna Schmidt. TAYLOR, BEVERLY A. 324 Mosley Age 52, died February '17, 1986. Born September 25, 1933 in Mecosta County, MI, Mrs. Taylor had been employed as an underwriter with the Michigan Millers Insurance Co. for 23 years.

She is survived by her husband, Leo; 1 daughter, Karen Taylor Los Angeles, CA; 2 sons, Michael of Los Angeles, CA and David Taylor of Fort Campbell, KY; 1 grandchild, Heather Taylor; 2 brothers; 3 sisters.
