Fava Set Pace rated Ruieville Bulldogs 28-0 here at St. Joe Field Friday night in the season's opener before one of the biggest opening night crowds in history of the local! team. The Irish unleashed their scoring in the final three quarters after being held scoreless in opening period and turned in a brilliant game for the opening contest. They gained revenge for last season's 13-7 loss to the Bulldogs in the season's finale by taking up where the season left off hast fall and a lopsided win this sea- Mascagni, Swain Big Guns fleet halfback Jimmy Love on he Ruieville 22.

Pro Tom J. Chairman Fred Michael of Greenville Golf and Country Club and his committee have arranged an outstanding program of entertainment for the golfers. Many of the local players qualified a their scores early to permit visiting golfers to qualify on Saturday. The tournament will continue through Monday, Handsome prizes will be awarded the winners. The 18-hole layout at the host Greenville Golf and Country Club was teeming with activity Saturday and will continue this week-end.
