Dan Hesler, chief grain inspector for the Mississippi Depart' ment of Agriculture and Commerce, has announced. Sponsors of Uie clinic are the state agricultural department, the Extension Service. Delta Council, the Arkansas Extension Service, Louisiana Extension Service, Arkansas Agricultural Coun- cil and Louisiana DcUa Council. Si Corley, Mississippi commissioner of agriculture, will be the first speaker and master of ceremonies. Th? program will focus attention on problems of the grain industry and producers in the three state area. Subjects were selected from suggestions by grain elevators, oil mills andj farmers growing grain in this area. The clinics have been conducted in Mississippi since 1954, said: Hester. This is the first three- state meeting. The clinics have emphasized harvesting, cleaning, drying, processing, storing and marketing.
