Miss Meek Tells Her. Wedding Plans Miss Helen Louise Meek, bride-elect of William H. Loughran, Jr., today announces plans for her wedding and names the bridal party. The wedding rites will be solemnized on Saturday, August 6 at 8 p.m. at Bluella Plantation, n e a r Hollandale. The Rev. T. Hussell N u n a n , pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Greenville, will officiate. Miss Carol Meek, sister of the bride, will serve as maid of honor. Other attendants will be M r s . Charles A r t h u r Merdinger, Jr. of New York City, the former Miss Doris Virden of Greenville, and Miss Patricia D a l l a s Karlson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harold Karlson of Greenville. Serving the groorn as best man will be Joseph Edward Eoisvert of Columbus, Ohio. Groomsmen will be John William Robinson and William David Robinson of Miamisburg, Ohio, cousins of the groom. Mrs. Marcus Treadway of Hollandale w i l l provide the nuptial music. MISS PEGGY JOANN 7 JOYCE Joyce - Pietrobon Engagement Told Mr. and Mrs. Waymond Henry Joyce of Greenville announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Pe ggy Joann, to A i r m a n Third Class Alfred Lee Pietrobon of Greenwood, Indiana, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Pietrobon of that city. Miss Joyce is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Stokes of Glen Allan and the late Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Joyce of Marlin Texas. Airman Pietrobon is the grandson of Mrs. Edward Sang of L a k e l a n d , Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Pietrobon of Allentown, Pa. The bride-elect is a former graduate of Greenville High School, where she was active in (he Black and Gold Band and was a majorette. She attended Delta Slate College in Cleveland and Mississippi College at Clinton. She is presently employed at Greenville Air Force Base. The groom-elect was graduated from Murral Dobbins Vocational Technical School in Philadelphia, Pa. He is presently serving wi!h the United States Air Force at Green- v i l l e Air Force Base. Upon release from service, he w i l l be employed with Cedar Rapids Engineering Company in I n d i a n a - polis. I n d i a n a . D. Hall Mr. and Mrs. William R. Skinner of Greenville today announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Patricia, to Lt. Madison D. Hall of Lake City, Fla., son of Mrs. Pat Hall of Lake City and William M. Hall of Delray Beach, Fla" Miss Skinner is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Skinner of Texarkana, Ark., and Mrs. M. D. Hurt.^and the late Clayton Williams of Texarkana. Lt. Hall is the grandson of.the late Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Hall of Tifton, Ga., and Mrs. H. C. Ward of Glennville, Ga., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Mary Joyce, to D a v i d Goodloe Love, III, son of Mrs. David Goodloe Love of Leland, and the tale Mr. Love. The wedding w i l l t a k e place September 15 at First Methodist Church, Glennville. Miss Ward was g r a d u a t ed from Ludowici High School, Ludowici, Georgia, and Georgia Teachers College, Statesboro, Ga. She received her masters degree in Christian Education from Scarritt C o l l e g e , Nashville, Tenn , and will do f u r t h e r g r a d u a t e v/ork at George Peabody College this fall. Miss Ward is the grand- d a u g h t e r of Mr. and Mrs. Kvers Ward of Vienna, Ga. and Mrs. Lula Grimes of Columbus, Ga. Mr. Love was graduated from Leland High School and received his B. S. degree in Business Administration from Delta Stale College, Cleveland. He w i l l receive his masters degree from Scarrill College, in the spring. Mr. Love was formerly a member of the Delta Bachelors Club. His grandparents a r e Mrs. William A. Becker, Sr. of Leland, and Mrs. Grider Perkins of A u b u r n , Ky., and the late Mr. Perkins.
