Community Center Sets Opening The new Elgin Community Cen ter, sponsored by Corninunitj Settlement House, will began op erations next Wednesday with an open house in the aft?-noon an^ an open house and movies at night. The new center, at 2903 Rabbit Run Road, will serve families living in the vicinity of the eitv's new Elgin Park. A program similar to that of Community Ssttlemcnt House is planned. Ricardo Viilareal, director, said. There will be sewing and other classss for mothers and play arrd handicraft sessions for the youngsters. The newly formed Mothers Club of the center will serve refreshments af the open house from 2 to 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon and from 7 to 8-.-10 o'clock Wednesday nig;ht.
