Divide cost of wedding So many details go into your wedding -- and each one U important. Deciding who pay* for each of them can be confusing. The following list of expenses should help. In g e n e r a l , u n l e s s t h e groom's family offers to help with the reception costs, the whole wedding ceremony is the responsibility of the bride's family. Optional expenses include: Bachelor dinner -may be given by the groom himself or his attendants or friends. Rehearsal dinner -either the groom's family or the bride's family and friends give it. Bridesmaids' luncheon -- given either by the bride or by her family or friends. Attendants' dresses -usually bought by the attendants themselves, but the bride may buy them. Bride's bouquet -- usually a gift from the groom, but the bride's family may buy it. Corsages for mother and grandmothers -- usually provided by the groom, but the bride may want to buy them herself. Bedspreads have new designs Steve Fetveit and Judy Fauerso find that everything from bedspreads 1o sheets and towels are needed when a couple stalls a new household. They are planning a June 5 wedding and found everything they needed in the domestic section at Super Fair in the Gateway Wesl Mall. social scene Seniors have sale The senior citizens of the Nutrition Program are having a rummage sale from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, at 1245 4th Ave. E. They will take from 12:30 - 1 p.m. for lunch. Anyone interested in donating anything other than clothes may contact the Senior Citizen Center. Proceeds from the sale will go to the senior citizens for game prizes, supplies and a PA system. Couple has garden wedding in Whitefish Prices Good May 30 thru June 1,1976 Newcomers have potluck The Kalispell Newcomers Club will have a potluck . luncheon at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Joyce Astle's home, 753 » 1st Ave. E.N. : The program will be the Rape Crisis hotline and reservations may be made by calling 755-7721. Anyone needing a babysitter may call 756-6943. Elks continue bridge The Elks Ladies have decided to continue the bridge luncheons through June with the next luncheon set for Thursday. If weather permits, play will be on the patio by the pool. Anyone wanting reservations may call the Elks Club at 756-6474. Winners at the last meeting wree Ethel Montgomery, Ruth Bothek and Hazel Montgomery. Efreida Faber made Bicentennial tallys that will be kept and used permanently. Women need rides Women's Week, sponsored by the Montana Cooperative Extenstion Service, will be June 14-18 on the Montana State Univeristy campus in Bozeman. There is still time to register and those who have already planned to attend but need a ride, or have room for extra passengers, should contact Nancy Horsfall, county extension agent, at 755-5300. Speakers plan meeting COLUMBIA FALLS - The Rev. W.L. Serdahl will be the guest speaker at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. through Tuesday at the Assembly of God Church in Columbia Falls. The meetings will be highlighted with Bible teachings, preaching and special vocal solos accompanied by the piano and accordion. The church also is sponsoring a special program at 7 tonight or the film, "Sound of the Trumpet." The public is invited to see the film and attend the special meetings. Chapel service planned The annual Memorial Day service at Fairview Cemetery Chapel will begin at 2:30 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Ron Pierce will give the address and along with his family will provide appropriate music. Soldiers graves will be decorated and the ceremony will be followed by "Taps." Light refreshments will be served and ail servicemen and women are asked to come and add color to the continued observance. The public also is invited to attend the special service to pay tribute to those who have passed on. Caravan stops here To help promote and celebrate the Bicentennial, 50 units from Sheridan County will leave Friday on a Sheridan Bicentennial Big Sky Tour Caravan. The group will be under the direction of wagonmaster, Ken Syme of Raymond. The caravan will consist of pickup campers, coaches, fifth-wheels, mini-homes, automobiles and trailers to make up a 1976 version of the old-covered wagon trains. The group will be in Kalispell at the Fort Kalispell Campground, Saturday through Monday, June 5-7. They will participate in a Sheridan County potluck picnic at 1 p.m. Saturday. The group will go on to visit Helena, Billings and Miles City before returning home, WHITEFISH - Marudy KiTolla of Whitefish and James Michael of Somers exchanged vows during their May 8 garden wedding at the bride's home in Whitefish. The single-ring afternoon ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Torrance Harvey. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph DiTolla of Whitefish and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Michael of Somers. Maid of honor was Theresa DiTolla, sister cf the bride, of ffhitefish and best man was Thomas Holston of Rollins. The couple is residing in Whitefish while he serves in the United States Navy on the U.S.S. Sperry.
