His birthday was celebrated at a family gathering in hla home, 944 Cresent place, Sunday. Mr. Lamb, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lamb, was born April 4.

1861, in Tipperary County, Ireland. He left Ireland in 1875 to Join his parents mho went to the States when was two, in Otisville, Mich. He worked as a lumberjack bo-fore turning to railroading. From Saginaw, where he worked as a brakeman for the Fere Marquette railroad, he came to Port Huron in 1893 as a switchman for the old Chicago, Detroit, Canada Si Grand Trunk railroad. Mr.

Lamb retired in April 1831. after 38 years of service with the Grand Trunk. Mr. and Mrs. Lamb were married Jan.

14. 1888. Mrs. Lamb died July 14. 1928.

Mr. Lamb has four sons. John B. Lamb, and Laurence J. Lamb, both of Detroit; James Lamb, Royal Oak, and Martin Lamb, Port Huron; a daughter, Mrs.
