King Enid, Okla. James E. King, 40, of Enid, formerly of Quitman, died on Monday, January 21, 2013, at his residence. No visitation and no funeral services were held. Interment will be in the Ephesus Baptist Church cemetery in Forest.

Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest is in charge of arrangements. Mr. King was born on April 7, 1972, in Bryan, Texas, to James Howard King and Eunice Gay Williamson. He was employed as a Lineman for Patriot Solutions. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his son, Austin King of Quitman; one sister, Jenny Williamson of Louisville; two brothers, Brian King and Daniel King (Melanie) of Leonard, Texas; a stepbrother, Tommy Williamson of Newton; and several nieces and nephews. John C. Smith PULASKI John Smith, 83, of Pulaski, died on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest. Visitation was held from 5 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, at the funeral home.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 25, at the funeral home with burial in New Goodhope Baptist Church Cemetery in Pulaski. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of arrangements. Mr Smith was a member New Goodhope Baptist Church, a member of the VFWand enjoyed gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Smith; parents, M.V.

Smith and Myrtle Peavey Smith; brothers, Henry Lee Smith, George Smith, Billy Joe Smith and Jim Smith; sister, Doris Harmon. Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Sue Smith of Pulaski; three brothers, Troy Smith of Pulaski, Walter Smith and his wife, Mary Jean, of Pelahatchie, and Bob Smith and his wife, Sharon, of Morton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers included his nephews: Josh Smith, Paul Smith, Keith Smith, Chris Smith, David Smith, Scotty Easterling, Mike Harmon, Brad Smith and Joey Smith; and Randall Smith, Greg Smith and Jim Smith, Jr. Friends and family may sign an online guest book at www.colonialchapelfor- est.com. Mary Alice Porter MORTON Mary Alice Porter, 75, of Morton, died on Sunday, January 20, 2013, at Scott Regional Hospital.

Visitation was held at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, January 22, and again before the service time at the church. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 23, at East Morton Baptist Church in Morton with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Kenny Lang and Bro Ricky Watkins officiated.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, at Midway Freewill Church in Forest with Rev. Randy Lewis officiating. Holifield Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of arrangements. Dorothy Lloyd Kornegay Dorothy Lloyd Kornegay, 69, of Forest, died on Sunday, January 20, 2013.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, at Pleasan Gift M.B. Church in Morton with Rev. Perry Fletcher officiating. Holifield Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of arrangements.
