Mrs. Albert M. Furtow, who lives in a small cottage at the foot of Broad street, recently rescued a small dog from drowning in St. Clair river. Mrs.

Furtow's kind act would have passed without anyone knowing of it if a chance observer had not witnessed the rescue.
