The Delta Democrat- Times Miss Nancy Adams To Wed J. E. Myers Emmett Adams and Mrs. Martha Swarmer Adams of Memphis, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Nancy, to James Edward Myers, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Lewis I. Myers of Shaw. The bride-elect is a graduate of East High School of Memphis and a former resident of Indianola. She attended Delta State College, Cleveland, during the 1957-58 and 1958-59 505- 40 sions. At Della State, she was a beauty for two consecutive years and momber of the Delia Belles.

She was named Miss Armed Forces of 1959 al Cleveland. At present, Miss Adams is a stewardress for American Airlines, flying out of Dallas, Texas. Myers is a graduate of Skene High School and is now A senior at Delia Stale College, where he is student director of publicity. He is also a member of Della Playhouse, a staff member of Miss Delta, student newspaper, and on the Delta State Debate (cam. His father is currently serving as Bolivar County Superintendent of Education.

She wore a waist length double tiered veil of illusion 'that fell from a queen's crown embroidered with pearls and carried a cascade bouquet of lilies of the valley contered by a white orchid. Attendants Named Mrs.

William Arthur Steele and Miss Dale Munn who served as bridesmaids. wore matching gowns of turquoise Chantilly lace and organza with hair bandeaux of velvet flowers and tiny veils. They muffs of net caught with nosegays of pink cymbidium orchids. The best man was William Dennis Hancock brother of the groom from Greenville.
