Davis Albert Helton Davis Albert Helton, 74, Marshfield, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2002 in Cox Medical Center North, Springfield. He was born March 6, 1928 In Ridgedale, the son of Frank and Nancy (Davis) Helton. He served his country in the U.S. Army and worked as part of The Constabulary Forces following World War II. Mr.

Helton retired as District Communications Engineer for the Missouri State Highway Patrol. He was an avid HAM radio operator. Survivors include his wife, Susan; two brothers, Floyd Helton, Stockton, and Ernest Helton, Costa Rica; two nieces, Cindy Grant, Naples, and Nancy Scanlon, Fulton, five step-sons, Joe Haggard, Fordland, Jim Haggard, Walnut Grove, Carl "Bob" Haggard, Roanoke, Texas, and Rick Miller and Kirk Miller, both of Texas. Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Ha; two sisters, Velma Scanlon, and Evelyn Helton; and a brother, Gene Helton. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m.

Goslin James H. Goslin, 62, Springfield, died at 11:45 p.m.. Friday, March 15, 2002, in St. John's Regional Health Center. James was born May 21, 1939, in Clinton, to Henry and Laura Goslin.

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War, and worked at St. John's Hospital as an electri-' clan for many years. He Is survived by his wife Mary, of the home; one daughter, Michelle Wilson and husband Todd, Everton; two grandchildren, Makenzie and Rylee Wilson; three brothers, Franklin Goslin, Clinton, Harold Goslin, El Paso, Texas, Donald Goslin, Clinton, their wives, children and grandchildren. He was residing in the home of Hurdie and Marcella Bruton where he had currently been helping to take care of them any way he could. On May 2, 1964, Albert married the love of his life, Bonnie Sue Bruton after 38 years of marriage.

Gillespie of Willard where she was bom, February 2, 1917, and by one sibling, Cleo Bockman. After receiving a B.S. degree from S.T.C. she worked for the Union Electric Co. of St.

Louis, County. Upon marrying Edwin Sisty, they moved to New York City where she worked for Nabisco, The Magazine Publisher, Conde" Nash and the Frick Collection Art Museum. Nelle was noted for her entertaining humor and wit. She traveled extensively worldwide, visiting many countries and continents during her vacations. After retirement, she moved to Springfield to be near her family.

There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for anyone especially his family. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Albert was truly blessed. This loving man never had an unkind word on his lips. The stories Albert told could make anyone laugh even In the most difficult of times. He was and still Is a very loved man.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Irene Christian; brothers Walter, Clarence and George Christian; sisters Daphene and Helen Christian, and Tennie Carter; brother-in-law James Peters; and a son-in-law Michael Hambey.
