Sunday, April 6, 1947 Page 17 I Miss Dolores Klockman, popular student in Brownsville High School, was chosen by her classmates to represent the senior class at the annual Sweetheart Dance sponsored by Edinburg Junior College, and held in Edinburg yesterday. Miss Klockman is the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. E. F. Klockman.

and Mrs. Placid Marc. Lamberton announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Virginia Clemence Lamberton of Houston to.Gilbert Harrison Vidaurri, also of Houston, son of Mrs. Velma Burr Vidaunl and A. Vidaurri of Laredo.

Their wedding will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Advent in Brownsville. Miss Lamberton, popularly known in Brownsville as "Peggy," was associated with the Brownsville Herald for many yenrs as scoiety editor, before going to Houston where she secured a position as deputy clerk in the U. S. Court.

She will arrive In Brownsville today. Mr. Vidaurri ia also a former resident of Brownsville, having spent his child- hood here The couple will make their home in Houston. $-W i 4 Mrs. Jack E.

Ferguson, shown above, talented singer, will be featured in the Kiwanis Minstrel show to be held at Junior College Auditorium Tuesday and Wednesday. Mrs. Ferguson spenfc 14 years as a professional singer before her marriage five years ago. Her stage name was Louise Borday. A former WAAC, she starred in the Army show, "The Sergeant Is a-Lady." She will stnar Made Me Love You" in the minstrel show.

Miss Nachita Simo, shown daiifihter of Mr. ond Mrs. Arthur Simo of this city, will be married May 20 to Reace James, son of Mr. and Mrs. F.

C. James of Brownsville. The bride-to-be is now employed as public accountant in the office of Ygnacio Garssa Jr. The Sacredness of Easter, the anniversary of the day cia Champion, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Miss Dorothy Ann Ransome, shown above, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Ransome of this city, has returned home from Texas University to spend the Enstcr holidays.

She is a junior student. Her brother, Rufus Ransome Jr, is also a student at the University, and ia spending Easter in Brownsvillt.
